    Moved my dad; highly recommend

I moved my dad in and I'm very pleased - the brand-new facility is beautiful and spotless, staff and leadership are warm and attentive, and the chef's meals are excellent and often personalized. There's a real sense of community with plenty of activities; our family is glad he's here and I'd recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

StoryPoint Collierville is consistently described as a new, well‑maintained senior living community with a contemporary design and abundant common‑area amenities. Reviewers highlight the bright, clean interiors, attractive grounds, and multiple dining venues (bistro, restaurant, private dining) that create a resort‑like atmosphere. Apartment options range from compact units to spacious one‑ and two‑bedrooms with features such as granite countertops, ample natural light, balconies or patios, and open kitchens. On-site conveniences include a hair salon, fitness/therapy spaces, multimedia and game rooms, library, and frequent social spaces that support an active lifestyle.

Staff and leadership receive repeated positive mention: residents and families describe staff as kind, attentive and relationship‑focused, with visible executive leadership and life‑enrichment teams who run an extensive calendar of programs. The community offers robust activity programming — exercise classes, group games, religious fellowship, bridge, trivia, live music, veterans’ events, and regular outings — that many reviewers credit with improving resident social engagement. Transportation services for errands and appointments are in place and the community provides housekeeping, laundry/towel services, maintenance, and some on‑site clinical conveniences (physical therapy, periodic doctor visits, prescription delivery), contributing to a high level of day‑to‑day support.

Dining is a prominent strength for many: the on‑site chef, rotating menus, buffet options for special events, and meal customization draw strong praise. Reviewers note both restaurant‑style dining and in‑apartment meal service options. That said, dining quality is not universally described as consistent; some accounts indicate meals they found excellent while a smaller number expressed dissatisfaction, so prospective residents should taste menus and clarify dietary accommodations, including diabetic or heart‑healthy options.

On the care and regulatory side, StoryPoint Collierville functions primarily as an independent living community with an Extended/Enhanced Living wing rather than a fully licensed assisted‑living or continuing‑care campus. This has operational implications: there is limited around‑the‑clock licensed nursing coverage and higher resident‑to‑staff ratios than one would find in a licensed assisted‑living facility. Reviewers raised concerns about response times during some clinical or infection‑control events and about adherence to infection‑control protocols during COVID‑related incidents. Families evaluating the community should confirm current staffing levels, nurse availability, scope of enhanced‑living services, and protocols for clinical escalation.

Other operational and amenity considerations include the absence of a swimming pool and aquatic programming, lack of in‑unit washers/dryers in many apartments, and no dedicated dog‑park amenity despite a pet‑friendly policy. Some units may be partially furnished or smaller in footprint, so verification of exact floor plans and included furnishings is advisable. A minority of comments referenced billing or fee‑communication issues and there are indications that the community is popular and often near capacity, which can affect move‑in timing and lease terms.

Overall, StoryPoint Collierville presents as a high‑quality, hospitality‑oriented independent living community with strong social programming, attractive facilities, and a well‑regarded staff culture. Prospective residents and families should weigh those strengths against the facility’s scope of clinical services and licensing model, clarify nursing coverage and infection‑control policies, confirm apartment amenities and furnishing expectations, and review financial and leasing details before committing.

    About StoryPoint Collierville

StoryPoint Collierville is a senior living community where residents can choose from several living options like Independent Living, Enhanced Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing, so folks can get as little or as much help as they need as they age, and they've got a whole bunch of programs and services set up to support different needs. There are apartments with open-concept floor plans, and some come with balconies or patios, where seniors are welcome to personalize their space, bring in their own things, and even have kitchenettes or kitchen appliances handy so it feels a bit more like home, and there's Wi-Fi and cable TV in each unit, so staying connected or catching a favorite program is easy enough, and of course, the place is pet friendly-pets are allowed, so you might see a few furry friends around. Folks who need help, whether it's day-to-day things like getting dressed, bathing, or managing medicine, can count on staff who are trained and around all the time, and there's extra attention for those dealing with memory loss, since their Memory Care neighborhood is built so that those with Alzheimer's or dementia have extra security, special activities, and staff support to keep them comfortable and safe. People here have the option for meals planned by chefs, with communal dining if you like company or room service if you want some quiet, and they make sure diets like diabetic, kosher, low fat, low salt, or vegetarian are covered, plus they even let guests stay overnight and join for meals, which is a nice touch for families and friends. For keeping busy, there's quite a bit going on, like art classes in a studio, fitness programs, a library with computers, entertainment spaces, social and recreational events, and organized activities aimed at keeping minds and bodies active-there's even an educational webinar series and social worker appreciation luncheons, so staff and residents are both part of a vibrant routine. Out on the grounds, it's a peaceful spot with walking trails, a covered drop-off, pavilions, courtyards with seating, gardens, and landscaped spaces that are nice for getting out, and if anyone needs a ride, transportation and shuttle services run daily, which makes errands or outings simpler for everyone. Everyday care means things like biweekly housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance are handled, so the place stays clean and folks don't have to worry about chores, and safety is top of mind with walk-in showers with support bars, emergency response systems, and wheelchair accessibility everywhere. For health needs, physical therapy, rehabilitation, home health, adult day care, and skilled nursing services are part of what's offered, so residents and their families can feel a bit more at ease. The building itself has a brick and siding look, with cozy common areas-fireplaces, a dining room with soft lighting, a beauty salon, business center, and a secure internet connection all through the community. Staff and residents are known to be friendly and helpful, and many seem to find meaning in the day's activities and routines. StoryPoint Collierville has won awards like "Best of Senior Living," "All Star," and "Best Activities," which shows others have appreciated the life here. The community emphasizes safety, connection, manageable living, and choice, with room to make things your own and enough support around so aging well doesn't feel overwhelming.
