Memory care provided secure units, unique care plans, alarm bracelets for wandering prevention, and care for those with more serious behaviors or who were prone to wandering, with the ability to handle up to 22 residents in that area. The community's state license, number 308347, allowed a capacity for up to 71 residents in assisted living. Staff included registered nurses, medical assistants, a doctor on call, and sitters and homemakers, all with background checks and drug screenings, available 24 hours a day, handling things like medication management, incontinence and diabetic care, and even using mechanical lifts or transfer help when needed.
Apartments could come with wheelchair showers, tubs, kitchenettes, cable TV, and some were on the ground floor for easy access. Residents had access to room service dining and restaurant-style meals, with options for special diets like vegetarian, low sodium, or no sugar. Guests could enjoy meals too. Meals were planned and cooked by chefs focused on good nutrition and taste. Handling the small stuff, staff helped with housekeeping, laundry, grocery runs, and errands, so people could enjoy their time.
Activities filled the schedule onsite and offsite, with stretching and yoga classes, gardening clubs, trivia games, art and cooking classes, brain fitness programs, educational speakers, holiday parties, day trips, and even community service programs. Recreation spaces included a theater room, fitness center, piano or organ, and raised garden beds, plus spaces outside like patios and butterfly or hummingbird gardens where folks could gather or do activities. Residents could have cats or dogs up to 40 pounds, and pet care was offered too. Staff could speak both English and Spanish. High-speed Wi-Fi reached all over.
