    Caring staff, spotless, highly recommended

I placed my loved one here and I'm very pleased - the staff are incredible, caring, respectful, and treat residents like family. The place is spotless and odor-free, rooms feel home-like with private baths and wheelchair access, meals are tasty with substitutions, gardens and activities add charm, and hands-on owners/management make it a small, well-run, great-value assisted living I highly recommend.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in the reviews for Green Acre Easy Living is strongly positive, with reviewers repeatedly highlighting a small, home-like setting and a consistently caring staff. The facility is described many times as clean and odor-free, with home-style furnishings and rooms that residents and families can personalize. Multiple reviewers mention private rooms with private baths and a wheelchair-friendly layout, indicating that physical accessibility and resident privacy are strengths. Outdoor amenities such as a courtyard, porch and gardens are noted and contribute to a pleasant, domestic atmosphere.

Care quality and staff behavior are the most frequently praised aspects. Reviewers use terms like attentive, compassionate, respectful, and hands-on to describe caregivers and mention specific leadership by name (owner Cameron and manager Missy) as being actively involved. Several comments emphasize that staff treat residents like family, answer questions empathetically, and are available when needed — often going "above and beyond." The overall impression is of resident-focused care that balances support with respect for independence and dignity.

Dining and nutrition receive consistent compliments: meals are described as tasty, nutritious, and well received by residents. Reviewers note the availability of substitutions and the use of fresh vegetables from on-site gardens, which reinforces the home-like, quality-food impression. The dining experience is also characterized as social and supportive, with a communal atmosphere that many families appreciate. Cost and value are addressed positively as well; multiple summaries state the pricing is accurate and represents good value for the level of care and amenities provided.

Activities and programming are mentioned repeatedly as scheduled and planned, providing engagement for residents. The small scale of the facility appears to support an "extended family" atmosphere where staff and residents build close relationships. Families specifically praise dignity-preserving practices and the balance between independence (private rooms, personal space) and available support when needed.

Facilities and cleanliness are uniformly lauded: reviewers emphasize a lack of institutional odor and contrast Green Acre positively against other facilities that may have hygiene issues. The physical environment — including kitchen counters with refrigerators in rooms mentioned by one reviewer, and gardens providing fresh produce — contributes to the perception of a comfortable, homelike setting.

Concerns are limited but should be noted. A small number of reviewers reported negative experiences related to management interactions: one account describes a rude or disrespectful response and being hung up on during a Medicaid inquiry, and another mentions an unprofessional management style. These comments appear isolated relative to the volume of positive feedback but are significant because they relate to administrative responsiveness and professionalism. Prospective families should consider asking specific questions about billing, Medicaid coordination, and communication protocols during their tour or intake process to confirm these areas meet their expectations.

In summary, Green Acre Easy Living is consistently portrayed as a small, well-operated assisted living option with strong marks for cleanliness, personalized rooms, accessible facilities, wholesome meals, active owners and a compassionate staff that fosters a family-like environment. The primary caveat from the reviews is that there are a few reports of problematic interactions with management or administrative staff; however, the dominant pattern across reviews is one of high-quality, resident-centered care and good value. Families considering Green Acre should weigh the highly positive reports about daily care, food, and social atmosphere against the isolated administrative concerns and address any administrative questions directly with management during visitation.
