    Compassionate staff clean updated apartments

I moved my loved one to Stonebridge after a poor experience at Brookdale and we've been here long-term. The staff - especially administrator Ms. Leslie - are genuinely loving, compassionate, and provided excellent care; when my relative later passed they were very supportive. The building is clean and warm with updated apartments (separate kitchen, spacious bathroom with walk-in shower), on-site salon/barber, and 24/7 nursing; they accept Medicaid waivers. My only real negatives are a lack of community feel because units are spread out and some staff felt young or new, which made me a bit uneasy at times.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews of StoneBridge Senior Living - Russellville is predominantly positive, centering on the quality of care, cleanliness, and the physical accommodations. Multiple reviewers highlight genuinely caring staff and specifically praise the administrator, Ms. Leslie, which indicates strong leadership visibility. Care quality is reinforced by comments about loved ones being well-treated, reports of long-term stays with good outcomes, and the availability of round-the-clock nursing and medical personnel. The acceptance of Medicaid waivers is noted and is an important practical benefit for many prospective residents and families.

Staff-related feedback is mostly favorable: reviewers repeatedly describe staff as loving, caring, and providing the "best care." There are also comments that the work environment appears positive, which can correlate with better resident experiences. However, a consistent caveat appears: some reviewers observed younger or newer staff members and expressed discomfort at times. That suggests pockets of relative inexperience or the perception of turnover; while it has not negated the overall positive impressions, it is an area families may wish to probe further during a visit or intake conversation.

The facility and apartments receive strong marks. Multiple summaries describe the building as nice and clean with a warm atmosphere. Apartment features that stand out are updated finishes, separate kitchens, spacious bathrooms, and walk-in showers — practical design elements that support independent living and safety. On-site amenities such as a beauty shop and barber are mentioned, which enhance convenience and quality of life. The presence of 24/7 nursing/medical staff further supports the facility’s capacity to serve residents with changing health needs.

Community life and programming are less clearly described in the reviews. A commonly noted drawback is that units are somewhat spread out, which reviewers feel reduces a cohesive community feel. Aside from the beauty shop/barber, there is limited mention of organized activities, dining quality, or a robust social calendar. That lack of detail could mean offerings are modest, unevenly experienced, or simply not emphasized by the reviewers; prospective residents should request specifics about daily activities, group programming, and dining options when evaluating the community.

There are a few situational notes to be aware of. One review mentions relocation due to increased health needs and that a patient later passed away; that reflects the reality that residents’ care needs can change and that end-of-life events occur in skilled settings. Another reviewer contrasted StoneBridge favorably against a prior experience at Brookdale, suggesting that some families are switching because they perceive better treatment at StoneBridge. These comments underline both the facility’s role in transitions of care and the importance of direct comparisons when families shop for senior living.

In summary, StoneBridge Senior Living - Russellville is portrayed as a clean, well-maintained community with caring staff, supportive leadership, comfortable updated apartments, and useful on-site services. Strengths include hands-on staff, visible administrative leadership, Medicaid waiver acceptance, and 24/7 clinical coverage. Areas to investigate further during a visit are community cohesion (impact of spread-out units), staff experience/turnover, and the specifics of dining and activity programming. Overall impressions lean positive, but prospective residents and families should ask targeted questions about staff continuity and daily life to ensure a good match with their social and clinical expectations.

About StoneBridge Senior Living - Russellville

StoneBridge Senior Living - Russellville sits in Russellville, Arkansas as a large community with 75 beds and offers assisted living, memory care, independent living, skilled nursing, and home care services, and you'll find it's designed for older adults who want a secure, comfortable place to live. The building sticks to a single story so residents don't need to worry about stairs or elevators, and they can pick from studio or one-bedroom options or choose private, maintenance-free cottage-style apartments that feel like home without the work of keeping it up. There's a focus on family values here, and the staff often come to know both residents and their relatives well as they work to keep a supportive, welcoming environment. The community is pet-friendly, which makes it easier for people to bring their animals along, and long-term stays are welcome. Residents get round-the-clock access to healthcare professionals including 24/7 skilled nursing for those who need it, and there's on-site physical therapy and help with things like bathing and medication, plus transportation to medical appointments is always available. The property is family-owned and the owner, Mark Lierman, is known for supporting this close-knit approach, and with the senior assisted living license in Arkansas, StoneBridge fits a wide range of care needs, all under one roof. Common activities, like games of checkers or regular hair appointments, help keep the days steady and enjoyable, and people say the atmosphere feels less like a facility and more like a real home, which seems important to many older folks. With an average rating of 8.7 out of 10, it's the second highest-rated senior living community in Russellville and it's part of a larger network based in St. Louis with locations in Missouri, Illinois, and Arkansas, so there's some experience behind the operation, and while there isn't a long list of flashier amenities described, what stands out is the dedication to safety, comfort, and the everyday routines that seem to mean the most as we get older.
