Allure of Zion sits on the corner of Route 173 and Kenosha Road and is a healthcare facility for seniors where you'll find a range of services, from assisted living and skilled nursing care to short-term rehabilitation, memory care, hospice, respite, and supportive living options. The place used to be called Rolling Hills campus, and now goes by Allure of Zion, offering a home-like setting with caring, tenured staff who work around the clock. You see a team of professionals here-caregivers, therapists, managers, and lifestyle coordinators-all making sure to support residents with everything from medication management, help with daily tasks like bathing and dressing, to specialized care for things like wound care, respiratory issues, joint rehab, and diabetes, as well as therapy after surgery or stroke.
Residents can have their own Deluxe 1-bedroom apartments with living rooms and bedrooms, and there are 60 rental units for independent living for those aged 55 and better, all rented month-to-month with no entrance fees. Amenities line the place, including a library, arts and crafts room, beauty/barber shop, cards and games, chapel, gazebo, community lounge, country store, laundry and housekeeping services, meals, kitchenette, laundry room, and WiFi and Sirius XM to keep things connected and lively. When folks want to move around outside, there are outdoor walking paths and common spaces for fresh air. The place stays busy with lots of social, leisure, and educational activities-off-campus outings are on offer as well.
Skilled nursing and healthcare happen here 24 hours a day, with a 12-16 hour nursing care window and a 24-hour call system to manage medical needs quickly. On-site physician services bring in family practitioners, dentists, podiatrists, and optometrists, and the staff helps not just with basic care but also with things like feeding tubes, tracheostomy, isolation when needed, and rehab therapies-occupational, speech, and physical. Each resident has a care plan that gets updated to fit their individual needs, including social, emotional, and spiritual support. Family and resident councils meet regularly to share concerns or ideas and to help improve quality of life.
Allure of Zion accepts Medicare and Medicaid, rents apartments without upfront fees, and is run by a corporation as a for-profit community. The Sales & Marketing Director is named Amy Wright. The atmosphere feels like family, which helps everyone thrive, and the services and staff do their best to create a safe, comfortable, and active living experience for all who choose to live here.
