    Unsafe, uncaring, negligent nursing facility

I placed my cousin here and it was a nightmare - unresponsive administration, endless on-hold phone calls, indifferent management/DON, and consistently poor nursing care that left residents worse (missed meds/blood sugars, repeated UTIs, dehydration, hospitalizations). The rooms were filthy, beds broken/unsafe, supplies missing, valuables vanished (rings never found), and staff turnover/short staffing made care negligent; I walked out with my mom on day two. A few aides and therapists were kind and tried hard, but overall it's unsafe, uncaring, and I do not recommend this facility.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is predominantly negative but mixed: while multiple reviewers praise specific caregivers, aides, therapy staff, and a memory care wing, a larger volume of comments describe serious deficiencies in medical care, management responsiveness, facility upkeep, and resident safety. The positive reports emphasize compassionate, attentive staff who fostered genuine affection and produced good rehab experiences; these positives tend to come from families who encountered specific staff members or particular units. However, many reviewers recount repeated and severe problems that point to systemic issues rather than isolated incidents.

Care quality is a central and recurring concern. Numerous reviews allege medical negligence including overmedication, failure to monitor blood sugar, delayed or missed medications until residents were in their last hours, repeated urinary tract infections, dehydration, and frequent hospitalizations. Some accounts describe escalation to ventilator use and even resident death. Families report improper handling of basic nursing tasks: bedpans used incorrectly causing incontinence, infrequent showers (initially not showering or only weekly), filthy sheets, and failure to check or treat wounds or infections. A few reviews single out a nurse who snapped at a patient or staff who were unresponsive during emergencies. While a small number of reviewers praised specific nurses (e.g.,
