    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, with repeated emphasis on compassionate, attentive caregiving and a warm, family-like atmosphere. Reviewers consistently highlight that staff go above and beyond, creating personalized care plans that preserve residents ignity and independence while providing comprehensive supervision. The small size of the home (noted as around five residents in one review) is described by many as a benefit, enabling individualized attention and close relationships between caregivers, residents, and families; reviewers use phrases such as "treated like family," "part of Goshen Home Care family," and "Forever Home." Specific staff members and leadership receive individual praise (Monica as RN/operator, Ricky described as a lifesaver, Jerry Pullins commended), which reinforces a perception of reliable, accountable management and hands-on caregiving.

Care quality and clinical support are central themes. Reviews mention 24/7 caregivers, on-site medical support, and high-level dementia care, which reviewers credit with improving resident well-being and even enabling residents to thrive. The facility is portrayed as responsive and professional—able to adapt through pandemic restrictions while keeping residents safe and healthy. Families report seamless transitions from other, less satisfactory care settings, and many note peace of mind and confidence in the care provided.

Facilities and daily life receive frequent positive mention. The house is described as beautiful, very clean, open, and sunny, with a lovely backyard used for outdoor BBQs, family days, and general recreation. Private bedrooms are available and can be furnished with personal items, supporting a home-like feel. Meals are a recurring positive point: home-cooked food is enjoyed by residents and contributes to the overall homelike environment. On-site amenities such as hair care and multiple in-home services add convenience and reduce the need for outside appointments.

Programming and social engagement are well represented in the reviews. Care plans include daily exercise, music, games, crafts, and other fun and engaging activities that promote stimulation and socialization. Reviewers note an uplifting atmosphere where residents are happy and involved. Events like outdoor BBQs and family days create social opportunities for families and friends to connect with residents and staff.

Notable strengths include the personalized nature of care, the continuity and visibility of staff, and the combination of medical support with a strong social/home environment. Several reviews specifically highlight dementia care as being high-level and appropriate, and families report tangible improvements in loved ones who are "thriving" after moving in.

Concerns and limitations mentioned are limited but noteworthy. The most explicit negative point is that some bedrooms are small; this is a recurring comment and may matter for families prioritizing larger private spaces. Closely related is the very small community size: while many reviewers value the intimacy and individualized attention that comes with having only a handful of residents, others might view limited occupancy as a drawback in terms of space, privacy options, or availability. There is little direct criticism about staff competency, cleanliness, or food, and price is not framed as a problem—indeed one reviewer states it is "worth every penny."

In summary, Goshen Home Care Inc. Foster House is portrayed as a high-quality, small residential care setting that emphasizes compassionate, personalized care, safety, and an active, social lifestyle. It appears particularly well-suited for families seeking close, consistent caregiving, strong dementia support, and a home-like environment with on-site services. Prospective families should weigh the advantages of individualized attention and community atmosphere against practical considerations such as bedroom size and the implications of a very small resident population for availability and space preferences.
