    About BEAM of Hope, LLC

BEAM of Hope, LLC was an Adult Family Home in Cadillac, Michigan, that took care of seniors and adults with disabilities, making sure every resident felt supported in a small home with space for up to six people, with four licensed beds. The staff focused on round-the-clock care with individual care plans, and they helped with daily needs like bathing, dressing, moving around, taking medicine, and making sure meals were nutritious, which offered families some peace of mind knowing their loved ones were looked after. The home aimed to make everyone feel comfortable and less lonely by offering a close-knit setting with shared community spaces and chances to spend time together, while also respecting privacy and independence. Residents got help based on what they needed, whether it was memory care or hospice care or just some support with daily tasks, and the staff worked with healthcare providers when needed. The place was licensed and regulated by local and state agencies and surveyed by groups like the Department of Aging or Veteran's Services, but it didn't take Medicare and wasn't certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. BEAM of Hope offered long-term, non-acute care, which usually cost less than a full-time nursing home, and they also provided respite care so caregivers could take a break if they needed. Even though the home had special care programs with names like "Hope" and "Beacon" and took part in things that supported wellness and brought the community together, it closed on August 24, 2022, and the license expired the following year, so it's not open anymore, but before it closed, it provided a caring, supportive place where seniors and adults with physical or developmental disabilities could live with dignity and companionship.
