    Clean, caring small Christian facility

I placed my father in this small, Christian, house-like facility run by Ms. Davis and I'm pleased overall. It's immaculate and sterile with no urine smell or dust, linens freshly washed; the staff and manager are genuinely caring, attentive, family-like, and very good about meds, meals, and communication - his health and mood improved and he loves the nutritious food. Downsides: only semi-private rooms, upstairs is the only option, activities are limited, move-in costs are high, and it may not be enough for high-level care. I would recommend it for independent or low-assistance seniors who value cleanliness and loving, professional staff.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in the reviews is strongly positive, with consistent praise for the quality of care, the compassion of the staff, and the facility’s cleanliness. Multiple reviewers emphasize that residents are happy, have improved health, and received attentive, genuine service. The environment is repeatedly described as extremely clean and sterile — with no urine smell, minimal dust buildup, and freshly laundered clothes and bedding — which contributes to an impression of high standards for hygiene and resident comfort. The presence of a nearby hospital was noted as a reassuring practical advantage.

Staffing and management receive frequent commendation. Reviewers highlight an attentive, professional, and kind caregiving team and describe a manager and owner (Ms. Davis) who are hands-on, supportive, and treat residents like family. Communication with families is described as responsive and thorough, including attention to medications and food intake. Multiple comments describe a family-like atmosphere where staff show genuine love and patience toward residents; phrases like "patient-oriented," "on-top-of-everything manager," and "hardworking" recur. Several reviews explicitly recommend the facility based on staff performance and responsiveness.

Facilities and setting are portrayed as a clean, home-like small residential center. Positives include large resident rooms, a cute house aesthetic, and a smaller scale that many families find beneficial for individualized attention. The facility’s Christian orientation is mentioned by some reviewers as a notable characteristic. Outings and activities were provided prior to the pandemic, indicating an interest in engagement beyond the house. The small, home-like size is repeatedly framed as an advantage for personalized care and a family atmosphere.

Dining and nutrition are another strong theme: reviewers consistently praise nutritious, health-conscious meals, and at least one reviewer reports a parent loving the meals. Staff are noted to be thorough about food intake and supportive of residents’ independence in feeding. These points are tied by reviewers to measurable health improvements and day-to-day happiness among residents.

Concerns and limitations are relatively limited but consistent across a minority of reviews. The small size that many reviewers praise can also be a limitation: some families felt the level of care was "not enough" for their loved one or that the home was simply "not a good fit" for higher-acuity needs. Room options appear limited (semi-private rooms only, upstairs-only access), which could pose accessibility issues for residents needing ground-floor or private accommodations. Several reviewers requested more activities, suggesting the programming could be expanded. Cost is another recurrent concern: at least one review mentions high move-in costs and budget worries. A few reviews note potential perception issues about family members working in the facility (a mother of a resident works there but did not interact), which could raise questions for some families about boundaries or staffing dynamics.

Taken together, the reviews paint a picture of a small, well-run, and very clean residential care home with strong, compassionate staff and management, nutritious meals, and good communication. It appears especially well suited for families seeking a warm, family-like Christian environment with attentive daily care and high hygiene standards. Prospective residents and families should weigh those strengths against the home’s small scale, semi-private/upstairs room limitations, potential activity-program gaps, and reported move-in cost concerns. For people needing higher-acuity medical care, more private or accessible room arrangements, or a broader activity program, the facility may be less appropriate despite the generally excellent reviews.
