    About Rhodas House

Rhodas House sits on E Brooks Road in Ingersoll, Michigan, and offers care in a quiet, home-like setting that serves a small group of seniors who need daily help, and the staff there will help with bathing, dressing, getting in and out of bed, managing medicines, and all those daily tasks that can become tough with age, and they'll do it around the clock in a way that focuses on comfort and safety, so residents always feel watched over when they need it most. There are both shared and private bedrooms, with special rooms set aside for those in hospice care who need a little more quiet and time, and the rooms come furnished, plus there are wheelchair accessible showers and phones in each, and the staff will take care of all the laundry and general housekeeping, so things stay tidy and fresh. Fresh meals come three times a day in the dining room, and those meals can be made kosher, vegetarian, or adjusted for allergies, diabetes, or other special diets as needed, and there's a nightly snack and two coffee breaks to keep folks comfortable through the day.

The care team at Rhodas House includes two personal caregivers per shift, with CPR and first aid training, and visiting physicians and massage therapists drop in regularly, while off-site appointments get scheduled and rides are arranged for residents who need to get to doctor visits in town, and the staff manages medications, hygiene, incontinence needs, and all the usual parts of assisted living care, including memory care and help for those who need hospice or support with more serious illnesses. Folks can join in on community activities, movie nights, devotional gatherings, and special events for birthdays or holidays, with plenty of time in the shared living room, on walking paths, or relaxing in the garden, and there are safe places for both social time and quiet. There's an emergency alert system for quick help, and the house is always staffed, day and night.

Rhodas House aims to provide a simple, safe, and supportive place to live, where each resident gets a care plan that fits what they need, and a schedule that includes regular meals, activities, and all the help with the daily things that keep life moving, and while it's not the biggest place or filled with lots of extras, it focuses on doing the essentials well for the people who call it home.
