    Excellent care but inconsistent communication

I had a mixed experience. The staff-nurses, aides, PT/OT, activities and dining-were warm, skilled and helped with an excellent rehab, clean private rooms, great food and engaging activities. However communication and phone responsiveness were poor, staffing uneven, and I saw medication/hygiene lapses, long call-light waits and unsafe handling at times. Wonderful people and outcomes often, but come prepared to advocate for your loved one.
