    Truly a clean welcoming home

I'm very happy with this place - clean, welcoming, and truly a home away from home. The staff genuinely care, the leadership is stable, and the people are awesome. I'd absolutely send a family member here; there's no other nursing home like it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment The reviews for Fairview Manor are overwhelmingly positive. Reviewers consistently express high overall satisfaction and strong willingness to recommend the facility to others — several explicitly say they would absolutely send a family member. The tone of the feedback indicates trust in the quality of care and comfort with placing loved ones at Fairview Manor.

Care quality and staff A central theme across the reviews is the quality of the caregiving staff. Multiple summaries emphasize that the staff "truly cares" about residents and are described as "awesome people," which suggests both competence and warmth in day-to-day interactions. The explicit statement that reviewers would send family members implies confidence in safety, attentiveness, and clinical or personal care standards, even though specific medical details are not provided.

Management and leadership Reviewers call out a "stable leadership team," which is an important positive signal. Stability at the management level often translates into consistent policies, better staff retention, and continuity of care. Although the reviews do not detail specific leadership practices, the repeated mention of stability suggests residents and families perceive the administration as reliable and steady.

Environment and facilities Fairview Manor is consistently described as clean and nice, and reviewers characterize the atmosphere as a "home away from home." That phrasing indicates that the facility likely provides a comfortable, domestic-feeling environment rather than a purely clinical one. The note that there is "no other nursing home like it" signals that some visitors or families find the facility distinctive in a positive way, whether due to atmosphere, people, or programs.

Missing details and potential concerns The provided reviews do not raise specific negative issues; there are no mentions of problems with staffing levels, safety incidents, food/dining quality, activities, medical care specifics, billing, or facility maintenance beyond cleanliness. Because the summaries are uniformly positive and brief, there is limited information about certain operational areas that families often want to evaluate (e.g., clinical staffing ratios, therapies and activities offered, nutritional/menu quality, medication management, costs, and complaints process). The lack of negative comments is encouraging but could reflect a small or selectively positive sample of reviewers rather than a complete picture.

Recommendations and conclusions Taken together, the reviews portray Fairview Manor as a clean, welcoming facility with caring staff and stable leadership, creating a home-like atmosphere that earns strong endorsements from families. For prospective residents or decision-makers, these are compelling positives. To form a fully informed opinion, however, follow-up is advisable: visit in person, observe staff-resident interactions, tour rooms and common areas, ask for details on clinical staffing and care plans, review activity and dining offerings, and request references or additional reviews to confirm consistency across a larger sample. Based solely on the supplied summaries, Fairview Manor appears to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a clean, stable environment that many families trust and praise.

    About Fairview Manor

Fairview Manor sits on 255 F-Jefferson Street in Fairmont, Nebraska, and serves the area as a city-owned, not-for-profit nursing home that's been caring for people since 1973, offering a home-style, intimate setting for up to 27 seniors with both private and semi-private rooms, and when you walk through the place you'll see there's a real focus on helping folks keep their independence while still getting plenty of care because they offer assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, respite, hospice, and memory care for those with Alzheimer's or other cognitive problems, and their nursing staff keeps a caregiver to resident ratio of about 1 to 2 or 3 in the residential areas, so people usually don't have to wait long for help. They accommodate a wide range of needs, from folks who are quite independent to those needing more support with medication management, daily activities like bathing and dressing, or special diets for diabetes or high blood pressure, and if someone enjoys activities, they do a lot with crafts, music, animal and art therapy, movie nights, social games, and exercise classes, and there are regular trips for errands, doctor visits, church, and outings with transportation provided by the staff. Fairview Manor includes pools, saunas, a spa, outdoor sitting areas, book room, and places for haircuts with a mobile hairdresser or barber, plus communal spaces for music, eating, and recreation, and you'll find they serve three homemade meals a day and can make adjustments for dietary needs. There's a secure memory care section for people who wander or need close supervision, and folks living there have some say in how their days go, with an emphasis on letting residents choose their schedules or join in unique events and wellness programs if they like, since the staff tries to make it comfortable and as home-like and flexible as possible, helping with personal routines but not taking away more independence than needed. Since they're licensed by the State of Nebraska to provide assisted living care, and have been working on making culture changes so that life there feels less like a facility and more like a proper home, Fairview Manor's management and staff seem to genuinely care about the well-being and dignity of their residents, working to give everyone chances to stay engaged, relax, or be active, no matter their needs.
