    Caring staff, personalized care, excellent

I'm extremely satisfied - the caring, professional staff treat residents like family and provide individualized attention in a clean, homier setting. The smaller community, nice yard/patio, and excellent communication (regular picture/email updates) make it feel like home; I highly recommend them.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The collected reviews for An Angel's Touch are uniformly positive and enthusiastic. Reviewers consistently emphasize personalized, high-quality care delivered in a smaller, home-like setting. There are repeated statements of strong endorsement — reviewers say they would recommend the facility and describe being satisfied with the services provided.

Care quality: Multiple reviewers specifically highlight individualized and great care. The smaller population of residents is noted as a clear factor enabling more tailored attention; reviewers describe residents being treated like family, which supports the conclusion that staff-to-resident relationships are close and attentive. Words and phrases repeated across reviews — "individualized care," "residents treated like family," and "great care" — indicate that caregivers focus on personal needs and maintain a level of attention that families find reassuring.

Staff and culture: The strongest theme across the summaries is praise for staff. Reviewers call the team "the best team," "amazing staff," and praise their caring and communicative nature. The culture is described as family-like and warm, not institutional. This suggests a staff approach that emphasizes compassion, consistency, and relationship-building. High staff communication is singled out as a differentiator, with families receiving updates and photos via email, which contributes to trust and satisfaction.

Facilities and environment: The facility is repeatedly characterized as homier than typical institutional settings — an "actual home vibe" — which reviewers value. Physical features noted include a nice yard and patio, indicating outdoor space that residents and families appreciate. Cleanliness is explicitly mentioned ("always clean"), reinforcing a perception of well-maintained interiors and attention to hygiene.

Communication and transparency: Several reviews call out proactive communication practices, including regular updates and photo emails. This specific operational detail stands out and appears to play a meaningful role in family satisfaction; it both keeps families informed and reinforces the sense that staff are attentive to residents' daily experiences.

Recommendations and overall impression: Reviewers repeatedly state they would recommend An Angel's Touch and express strong satisfaction, using terms like "highly recommended" and "satisfied." The combination of a small, home-like setting, strong staff relationships, cleanliness, outdoor space, and active communication forms a consistent pattern that explains these endorsements.

Notable gaps and limitations: The review summaries do not provide information about several operational areas commonly of interest: there are no specific comments about dining quality or meal service, organized activities or enrichment programs, clinical/medical services beyond general care, staffing ratios, licensing/certification details, pricing, or management responsiveness to complaints. Because the available content is uniformly positive and relatively brief, there is little insight into any weaknesses or occasional negative experiences; the absence of criticism could reflect genuinely consistent performance or simply a selection bias in the provided summaries.

Conclusion: Based on the summaries provided, An Angel's Touch projects a clear strength in personalized, compassionate care within a small, clean, homelike environment supported by communicative staff. Families appreciate tangible practices such as picture and email updates and value outdoor spaces. If you are prioritizing individualized attention, a family-like staff culture, and cleanliness, these reviews suggest An Angel's Touch performs very well. If you need detailed information about dining, activities, medical capabilities, or costs, those areas are not covered in the summaries and should be investigated with the facility directly.

    About An Angel's Touch

An Angel's Touch is a non-profit senior living community with several locations in Omaha, Nebraska, and it's known for offering residential care homes, called board and care homes, where a small group of residents get daily help in a homelike setting, and you'll find the doors closed on weekends, since they're only open Monday through Friday. The staff have a reputation for treating everyone like family, and people have given high ratings-like 4.9 stars from 13 guest reviews and a 9.6 review score from residents and families. Services cover all levels of care, including independent living with optional support, assisted living, skilled nursing with round-the-clock care, and memory care for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, along with respite and hospice care if families need a break or a higher level of help.

Each location focuses on wellness, and offers a maintenance-free lifestyle, with amenities like home-cooked meals, companion pets (dogs and cats), beauty salons, devotional services, and group activities planned by a full-time activity director, which can include offsite trips, field outings, and specialized memory-enhancing activities for those who live with confusion. The staff gets to know each resident and offers help with daily activities, medication, meals, personal care, incontinence care, and diabetic support, with personalized programs and reminders for those who need a hand. The memory care area is in a separate, secure building, made for residents who may wander due to Alzheimer's or dementia, with tracking bracelets and locked spaces to keep everyone safe, and staff have experience supporting major behavioral issues or confused minds, and always keep a calm and fun atmosphere.

Rooms are semi-private, and residents who need help transferring-whether that's with a lift, or one or two-person assistance-get careful support. The staff to resident ratio is 1:4, so people get plenty of attention, and they do their best to make sure everyone's needs get answered quickly, encouraging each resident to stay as independent as possible for as long as they can. Smoking is allowed outdoors. The community can't always give certain therapies like sliding scale insulin, but staff can remind residents about diabetic care and handle general blood sugar monitoring, as long as the care plan spells it out. There are adult day services and respite care, so families have options if they just need a few hours, or a few days of help.

The aim at An Angel's Touch is to create a peaceful, home-like place where comfort, safety, and dignity are the top priorities for every resident, no matter what their needs may be, and the team dedicates their time to making sure each person is as happy and comfortable as possible, always focusing on high standards of care that let families rest a bit easier.
