Brookdale Beavercreek sits on Indian Ripple Road in Dayton, Ohio, and it's really built with seniors in mind, being all on one floor so folks with walkers or wheelchairs don't have any trouble getting around, and they've got a home-like setting that feels comfortable but still gives people different options for private apartments, with floor plans like the Silverdale, Townsend, and Richmond Suites, and you can choose furnished or unfurnished depending on what you need, plus each apartment has a private bathroom, a kitchenette, and an emergency call system to help keep people safe if something goes wrong day or night because there's staff on-site 24 hours, 7 days a week, ready to lend a hand or help with things like medication, bathing, cooking, cleaning, or even something like getting dressed, and the place is pet-friendly, so folks with pets don't have to give them up to move in, and there's Wi-Fi throughout along with common areas like sunrooms, a residents lounge, a library, and pretty big dining and activity spaces where people often gather for social games or just to chat, they've got events and fitness programs, outings, and regular checkers games in the game area, and meals are served three times a day with menus chosen by a registered dietitian for good nutrition, and there's a beauty/barber shop on-site, plus laundry and transportation services so you're not stuck if you want to get out and about, and when it comes to care, they mainly help with assisted living, memory care for folks with dementia or Alzheimer's, skilled nursing, home care, and independent living for seniors who don't need much help but still want the company and security, and they've got a HealthPlus program that means a registered nurse helps coordinate care especially for conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, and the whole place pays close attention to health and wellness with things like yearly checkups, shots, and screenings, plus support for caregivers and planning tools, and with all these options and staff around, they work with each person to set up a personalized care plan that fits exactly what you need for your health, safety, and lifestyle, though there's no parking or known outdoor spaces and details about floors or exteriors aren't available, the main focus is really on making daily life safe, simple, and as pleasant as possible, for folks 55 and up, including being pet-friendly, supporting LGBTQ protections, and following all housing and employment laws.
Compassionate dementia care; small, pricey
I placed my mom here and have been very pleased - the care is excellent, staff are warm, attentive and communicative, the food is consistently good, and activities keep her engaged in a homey, clean, family-like setting with real dementia expertise. Management and nurses are hands-on and responsive when issues arise. Caveats: rooms are small, fees and annual price increases can be steep, and there have been occasional staffing/laundry hiccups. Overall I'd recommend it for compassionate, personalized care, keeping cost/space in mind.

About Brookdale Beavercreek
About Brookdale
Brookdale Beavercreek is managed by Brookdale.
Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) is the largest senior living operator in the United States, managing over 640 communities with capacity for approximately 59,000 residents across 41 states and employing around 36,000 associates. Founded in 1978 and publicly traded since 2005, Brookdale solidified its market leadership through major acquisitions including American Retirement Corporation (2006) and Emeritus Senior Living (2014), making it the only national full-spectrum senior living company. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Brookdale has topped the American Seniors Housing Association's ASHA 50 list and Argentum's largest providers list for multiple consecutive years.
The company's comprehensive care continuum includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). Brookdale's signature Clare Bridge program, developed over 30 years ago by dementia-care experts, provides specialized Alzheimer's and dementia care through two distinct levels: Clare Bridge communities for comprehensive memory support and the Clare Bridge Solace program for advanced-stage dementia residents. The program is recognized by the Alzheimer's Association® for incorporating evidence-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations and features secure environments, enclosed courtyards, Daily Path programming with six structured activities daily, and the InTouch technology platform offering personalized brain-stimulating games and therapeutic content.
Brookdale's holistic Optimum Life® wellness approach balances six dimensions—Purposeful, Physical, Emotional, Social, Spiritual, and Intellectual—implemented through signature programs including B-Fit (eight exercise class options), Brain Fit (mental fitness workouts), My Life Story (resident storytelling), EngagementPlus (interest-based connections), Growing Together (collaborative learning), and The Ageless Spirit (kindness and gratitude practices). The Embrace Family Partnership provides caregiver education and support for families of memory care residents.
The company's Brookdale HealthPlus® care coordination model, winner of the 2024 Argentum Best of the Best Award placing it among the top 1% of operators, is a technology-enabled healthcare service featuring dedicated RN Care Managers who proactively manage residents' health, coordinate care transitions, and help prevent avoidable hospitalizations. Communities using HealthPlus report 78% fewer urgent care visits, 36% fewer hospitalizations, and 63% more completed annual wellness visits. The Personal Solutions program delivers hygiene products, medications, and daily necessities directly to residents' doors with discreet packaging and monthly billing convenience.
Following a strategic divestiture of its home health and hospice operations to HCA Healthcare (completed December 2023), Brookdale now focuses exclusively on senior living operations while maintaining its position as the industry's largest operator, committed to its mission of enriching lives with compassion, respect, excellence, and integrity.
