    Caring staff but inconsistent maintenance

I moved my mom here and overall I'm glad - the staff are caring and attentive, activities and bus trips keep her social, and the apartments are spacious and wheelchair-accessible. The food and medical/therapy care are often excellent and give us peace of mind. However housekeeping and apartment cleanliness can be shockingly bad (spoiled food, pest risks), and front-desk/management responsiveness and billing have been inconsistent. It's a lovely, active place if you can afford the high rent and accept uneven maintenance and oversight.

    About Danbury Cuyahoga Falls

Danbury Cuyahoga Falls sits in a spot where some apartments even have a nice golf course view, and folks can choose from studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and spacious closets, so they really have room to make themselves at home. The building is wheelchair accessible, has easy-access showers, air conditioning, individual controls for heating and cooling, and all utilities are included except for the phone, which takes some of the guesswork out of bills. Residents get cable TV, WiFi in common areas, and an emergency call system for safety. There's on-site parking, laundry rooms on every floor, individual mailboxes, and maintenance is taken care of, so people don't have to fuss over chores.

People can live pretty independently if that's what they want, but there's also help available for everyday things like bathing, dressing, or medication, with personal care services done through a Medicare-certified home health care agency if needed, and the care team creates individualized plans for each resident, which is helpful when health needs change. Danbury has Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care, and even Skilled Nursing, so everyone can find what fits them best, and specialized memory care helps folks with dementia or Alzheimer's have more support and safety. The building gets checked for licensing each year and has won a few awards for friendliness and quality care, which people around here appreciate.

The staff try to make daily life social and interesting, so there are games and cards, a book club, exercise equipment, scheduled trips, day outings, and all sorts of life enrichment programs plus a wellness clinic and even health screenings. Pet therapy visits are popular, and the whole place is pet-friendly if someone has a companion animal. Meals are chef-prepared with attention to nutrition, and there's a focus on making sure everyone's happy with what's on the menu, and residents have a say in their choices. People often gather in the library, lounge by the fireplace, spend time on the outdoor patio, or relax in the community rooms, which gives a sense of togetherness. The beauty salon and barber shop mean folks don't have to travel far for a trim or a set, and there's a business center if someone wants to check email or print something.

Danbury Cuyahoga Falls has always tried to put individual happiness and health first, and they structure things so residents can live as independently as possible, while also having the peace of mind that help's there if it's needed, and many families like having different levels of care and living options in one place so loved ones don't have to move if their needs change.
