    Small community with homey meals

I'm very pleased with this small, clean community. The staff are loving, attentive, and helpful - they never make you feel in the way. Meals feel home-cooked with good variety and a pleasant dining area. Large rooms, nice outdoor seating, and many activities make it a good, budget-friendly option close to home; I would recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The facility presents as a small, approachable community with a number of strengths for prospective residents and families. Review content is dominated by positive observations about staff demeanor, cleanliness, communal spaces, and value. At the same time, a recurring pattern of operational variability — most notably around staffing and meal quality — appears across reviews and should be explored further by families considering placement.

Care and staff: Reviewers frequently describe staff as warm, helpful, and attentive; staff–resident interactions are commonly framed as respectful and accommodating. These strengths support a person-centered atmosphere for day-to-day needs. However, there are also indications of inconsistent staff quality and staffing levels. That variability is linked in several accounts to uneven service continuity and occasional concerns about how reliably resident needs are met. Prospective families should ask specific questions about current staffing ratios, turnover, and shift coverage to understand current conditions.

Dining: Dining is a polarizing area. Many reviewers praise home-style meals, menu variety, and an enjoyable dining environment, suggesting the kitchen can provide satisfying options and pleasant communal meals. Conversely, other reviewers describe meals as poor-tasting or inconsistent. Taken together, the pattern suggests solid menu variety but variable execution and taste. Families may want to arrange a meal visit, review sample menus, and ask about kitchen staffing and quality-control practices.

Activities and amenities: The community appears to offer an active schedule with numerous programs and activities, which reviewers view positively for resident engagement. Physical amenities are another asset: clean rooms, large living spaces, an enclosed patio, outdoor seating, and a scenic front porch contribute to a comfortable living environment and opportunities for outdoor time.

Facilities, policies, and value: The property is described as clean and well-maintained, and many reviewers emphasize the facility's affordable pricing and proximity to family as part of its value proposition. A notable policy-level characteristic is that smoking is permitted on-site; this may be acceptable to some families but a drawback for others and should be confirmed during a visit.

Notable patterns and recommendations: The strongest, consistent positives are staff warmth, cleanliness, active programming, outdoor spaces, and perceived value. The principal operational concerns are staffing consistency and uneven dining quality. For decision-making, families should prioritize up‑to‑date conversations with management about current staffing levels, turnover, and kitchen quality-control measures; request to observe a meal and an activities schedule; and verify specific unit features (room size, smoking policy) that matter to the prospective resident.
