    Beautiful Hill Country, excellent care

I'm so grateful I found this beautiful Hill Country, home-like facility - clean, pleasant-smelling, and full of happy residents. The staff (led by Administrator Jessica) are kind, skilled, and go above and beyond; care is timely, attentive, and excellent. Meals are delicious and made from scratch, activities are fun, and the friendly, small-team atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't send my mom anywhere else and highly recommend it. Note: mail is no longer delivered to the physical address - use PO Box 1569, Bandera TX 78003.

Phrases repeated across reviews include ‘‘kind,’’ ‘‘compassionate,’’ ‘‘attentive,’’ and ‘‘top notch,’’ indicating a strong and consistent perception of quality care and staff dedication. Many reviewers explicitly state they would not send a loved one anywhere else and highly recommend the facility.

Care quality and staff: The dominant theme is the quality of caregiving. Reviews repeatedly describe staff as knowledgeable, compassionate, and on top of residents’ medical needs. Timeliness of care and good communication about care plans are frequently noted, as are department heads and nursing leadership who ‘‘exceed expectations’’ and ‘‘go above and beyond.’’ Administrator-level leadership is singled out positively in multiple reviews, including a direct mention of Administrator Jessica, suggesting visible and effective management. Reviewers express gratitude for caring employees and highlight strong work ethics and teamwork among staff.

Facility, cleanliness, and atmosphere: The center is consistently described as clean, neat, and having a pleasant smell. Many reviewers comment on a home‑like, peaceful, and family atmosphere — a smaller facility that provides personal attention and a sense of community. The property and location are also praised (‘‘beautiful hill country facility,’’ ‘‘gorgeous Texas town’’), and residents are portrayed as looking happy and well cared for.

Dining and activities: Meals are a clear strength: multiple reviewers call the food delicious, appetizing, and note that meals are made from scratch. No complaints about meals were reported. The presence of cohesive staff teams and supportive leadership contributes to perceptions of consistent, reliable care.

Notable patterns and concerns: Virtually no clinical or service complaints appear in the review summaries; the only operational concern consistently mentioned is a mail delivery issue — physical mail to the facility is reportedly being returned and the facility uses PO Box 1569 Bandera TX 78003. No other recurring negative patterns (e.g., staffing shortages, cleanliness, food quality, or medical errors) are reported in the supplied summaries.

Conclusion: Based on the aggregated reviews, Cedar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center presents as a small, well‑run facility with a strong emphasis on compassionate, skilled caregiving, high cleanliness standards, attractive homemade dining, engaging activities, and visible, effective leadership. The facility’s small size and family atmosphere are repeatedly cited as positives that allow personalized attention. The primary operational note for prospective residents or families to verify independently is the mail handling change to a PO box. Otherwise, the reviews convey high satisfaction, frequent recommendations, and a steady pattern of positive experiences across care, staff, facilities, dining, and activities.

About Cedar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Cedar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center sits at 159 Montague Drive in Bandera, Texas, and belongs to the Creative Solutions in Healthcare family, so there's some support behind the scenes that makes things run smoothly, and while the place mainly focuses on skilled nursing and rehabilitation care, you'll find that residents can get help with both short-term needs like surgery recovery and longer stays if they need a little more time or extra help; the team puts together personalized care plans for each person, which means you don't get the same thing as everyone else, and that's always good, and skilled staff deliver services like physical, occupational, and speech therapy, which comes in handy for folks managing things like stroke, neurological conditions, cardiac illnesses, or diabetes; the center offers medical care options such as podiatry, dental, and eye care, as well as medication management and wound care, and folks get their nutrition looked after with meals planned by culinary staff who know about dietary needs, so that's some peace of mind, plus there's transportation and hospice services if needed, which a lot of families find helpful when planning for changing needs. You can count on a range of activities for residents-both recreational and religious-so days don't get too dull, and practical needs like laundry and housekeeping get handled by staff, which frees up time, and for anybody needing a trim or a little self-care, there's a beauty and barber shop onsite. Cedar Creek has a customer care team, a contact form, and an online portal so families can keep in touch, get updates, or ask questions when things come up; a long-term care ombudsman is there too, to help resolve any complaints, which helps everyone feel heard. Support staff are available, claim processes get handled, and the place works with social care programs and platforms, which keeps things on track for residents and their families, and there's a focus on making things as home-like as possible. The center isn't taking new patients at the moment, so anyone interested will have to call about openings, but if someone's looking for skilled nursing, rehab, or restorative programs, or even just a comfortable place during recovery, this is a spot in Bandera that's earned recognition for its services and the way it tries to keep residents' well-being front and center.
