Michelle's Care Home offers a range of support for seniors, including assisted living, skilled nursing, home health care, home care, adult day services, memory care, and board and care for those who want a smaller residential setting, and folks can pick from private or shared rooms, with kitchenettes, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and rooms fully furnished, but residents can also bring personal treasures to settle in. Around-the-clock staff help with daily needs like bathing, dressing, transfers, personal care, medication management, and reminders, and there's a 24-hour call system for peace of mind, plus doctors are on call within a mile. Meals use organic ingredients, and daily food service covers special diets, including diabetic and allergy-friendly options, with meal times scheduled and a sunset-view dining room where everyone can relax, and there's laundry, linen, and housekeeping included so things stay tidy. Residents have a maintenance-free living experience and access to cable TV, internet, and telephones in their rooms, and there are areas-like a theater room, beauty and barber lounge, community dining, and comfortable common spaces-where folks can watch movies, visit, or enjoy chapel services, with a priest on call 24/7. There's help for transportation, doctor appointments, and coordination of moves, and scheduled programs keep folks active and social, with activities aimed at supporting everyone's physical, mental, and social well-being, and some garden and walking paths outside for fresh air. The community keeps residents safe and supported, with staff always close by, and there are emergency alert systems in place. The place doesn't allow pets, but it's still designed to feel like a warm, welcoming home, not like a big institution, with a focus on keeping everyone comfortable, independent as possible, and cared for. Michelle's Care Home holds a state license (Lic 143650), offers licensed, reasonably priced care, and provides hospice and respite care so short-term stays are possible for guests or out-of-town visitors, even having a dedicated 3-night stay room for those who come to see loved ones. House rules cover meals, safety, and cleanliness, and support's always there, whether residents stay for a day or for long-term care.
Home-like facility with neglect concerns
I toured this small, clean, home‑like place — staff were friendly, showed me around, rooms were available, the chairs were comfortable and meals seemed home‑cooked. There are very few activities; most residents just watch TV. I have serious safety concerns: I heard reports of dehydration and malnourishment, missed medicines, delayed family notification, and an incident where a resident wandered off and wasn’t promptly found or given emergency care — alleged neglect.
