    Immaculate facility with caring staff

I had an excellent experience - the house is immaculate, quiet and exactly as pictured, with no odors or trash and laundry done regularly. The 1:4 caregiver-to-resident ratio delivered personalized, professional care (medications followed, hospice routine arranged when needed), and the staff - especially Doru and his wife - were kind, prompt and courteous. Meals were very good, residents have TV/Internet, visitation was reasonable during the pandemic, and the price felt fair; I highly recommend this facility and would return for future care.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: Reviews of Ingram Assisted Living LLC are overwhelmingly positive. Multiple reviewers emphasize high levels of cleanliness, a calm and quiet atmosphere, attentive staff, and a small caregiver-to-resident ratio that supports individualized attention. Several reviewers explicitly recommend the facility and indicate confidence in returning for future care, which signals strong trust and satisfaction among family members and residents.

Care quality and staffing: A prominent theme is personalized, reliable care. The reported 1:4 caretaker-to-resident ratio is cited as enabling close supervision and individualized attention. Reviewers note that medications are followed consistently and that hospice routines are implemented when needed, indicating the staff can manage both routine care and higher-acuity needs. Staff are consistently described as caring, attentive, prompt, and professional; a number of comments single out the owner/operators (notably Doru and his wife) as kind, courteous, and helpful. There is also a report that care was maintained even as a resident’s health declined, which supports the facility’s capacity for continuity of care.

Facilities and cleanliness: Cleanliness is a recurring and strongly emphasized advantage. Reviewers repeatedly call the house immaculate, free of odors and trash, and regularly laundered. The facility is described as looking like its photographs at all times, suggesting accurate marketing and consistent upkeep. The environment is characterized as quiet and peaceful, which many families and residents found favorable for rest and recovery.

Dining, amenities, and activities: Food receives positive mentions—several reviews call the meals very good or great. Residents have access to TV and Internet, which satisfies basic entertainment and connectivity needs. Beyond meals and TV/Internet access, reviewers do not elaborate on a broad activity program or social offerings; the available comments focus primarily on food, media access, and the tranquil environment rather than a structured calendar of activities.

Communication, visitation, and management: Reviewers report that management and front-line staff are communicative and helpful. The intake or information process is described as informative and straightforward. During the pandemic, visitation rules were characterized as reasonable and accommodating, and multiple reviewers appreciated the facility’s flexibility with visits. The owner is described as helpful, and initial impressions from new admissions are noted as positive, which indicates a welcoming admission experience.

Notable patterns and gaps: The dominant patterns are consistent cleanliness, strong staff responsiveness, clear medication and hospice management, and a small-staffed environment that supports personalized care. There are no explicit negative comments or recurring complaints across the provided summaries. One informational gap is a lack of detailed commentary on structured activities, rehabilitation services, or specialty programs beyond hospice—reviews mainly mention TV/Internet and meals rather than a robust activities schedule. Similarly, while pricing is called reasonable by reviewers, there is limited detail on contract terms, billing, or comparison to other local options.

Conclusion: Based on the collected summaries, Ingram Assisted Living LLC presents as a small, well-kept, and professionally run assisted living home with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, personalized attention (supported by a 1:4 caregiver ratio), reliable medication/hospice care, and friendly, responsive staff. Meals and basic amenities are well regarded, and management is seen as helpful and communicative. No significant negatives were reported in these summaries; prospective families looking for a peaceful, accurately represented home with attentive caregivers would likely view Ingram favorably. Potential enquirers may want to ask during a tour about the facility’s activity programming, therapy services (if needed), and specific contract/billing details to fill in information not covered in these reviews.

    About Ingram Assisted Living LLC

Ingram Assisted Living LLC sits right across from Ingram Mall in San Antonio, and the owners have been running it as a family business for over 10 years, so you see a lot of the same faces and a stable staff who know what they're doing, and the owner, Doru, keeps some visiting rules in place to help keep the peace and safety for everyone. The place only has five licensed beds and lives up to its reputation for stay being clean, quiet, and well-looked after, and folks say the staff and owners are always attentive, quick to help, and respectful, which matters a lot when you're needing more help as time goes on. There's a high caretaker-to-resident ratio, about one caregiver for every four residents, and they know how to handle all sorts of care needs, whether that's daily medication help, aid with bathing and dressing, or memory care for those with dementia-so residents get care without feeling rushed or lost in the crowd. Folks talk up the food, calling the meals very good, and the staff works to meet different dietary needs and personal tastes, and they take care of chores like housekeeping so residents don't have to mess with them. The place tries hard to be like a home, not a big center, and people can live in private or semi-private rooms in a single-story building, which helps with moving around if walking's hard, and they do activities like games, arts and crafts, and help arrange transportation for errands, doctor's appointments, or going out shopping. Ingram Assisted Living accepts Medicaid and offers respite stays for short-term care needs, and even though there's no Medicare unless the place is certified, they're licensed by Texas, and they keep up with community resources, including Alzheimer's support and caregiver help. They focus on helping seniors remain as independent as possible while providing help with eating, walking, or getting from bed, and the family feel means people get to know each other well. The setting is peaceful, with easy access to the medical center, H.E.B., and Walmart, and the home is well kept, quiet, and safe, which suits folks who need some extra security or help with memory. The business doesn't brag, but it's gotten a strong reputation for consistent, kind, and reliable care, and it's listed with CareListings, which means they keep up with job opportunities and standards for professional caregivers. Though pricing specifics aren't shared, people note average costs around $250 in the neighborhood, which gives families an idea. With over a decade in business, Ingram Assisted Living LLC offers a practical, home-like place for folks needing assisted living or memory care who want to keep some independence while getting steady help.
