    About Kinder Hearts

Kinder Hearts connects with Aurora Health Care and provides many care options, with a focus on privacy and respect for all people, and the place runs as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The main site in Milwaukee features a 25-bed Alzheimer's and Dementia Unit and works as a Continuing Care Community, so residents can stay as their needs change, and nurses and staff know how to care for people with memory loss, offering hospice and palliative care too. Kinder Hearts accepts Medicare and Medicaid, and offers many support services, not just for residents, but for caregivers as well, and people can find help with research and clinical trials. While care for seniors is a major focus, Kinder Hearts also puts effort into child care, early education, and making sure kids have safe places to play and learn, with programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and beyond, right up through kindergarten, and kids can join after-school or summer activities, and there's always age-appropriate things for them to do, plus family-centered support. The facility keeps meals and safety in mind, and guards everyone's privacy and health. Newsletters, videos, and other resources are easy to find, and there's even a store for those wanting extra materials. Free language help is always offered during visits, so families can feel at ease, and programs like the Peace Pledge Program, The Great Kindness Challenge, and Peaceful Pen Pals Project seem to make everyone involved feel included and give folks a way to participate, or even start or join a chapter through the Get Involved section, and sometimes it's these thoughtful details-like the Learning Adventures Enrichment Programs or the special focus on school readiness-that stand out.
