About Oregon Area Senior Center's Adult Day Program

Oregon Area Senior Center's Adult Day Program, also called C.L.U.B., is for older adults and people with disabilities who need daytime care, socialization, and support in a smaller setting. Staff supervise and help with things like bathing, dressing, transfers, and medication, and people can join daily activities meant to keep minds busy and spirits up, like brain games and group exercise. The community helps those with memory issues, such as dementia or mild cognitive impairment, with programs designed for memory care and mental wellness. There's support for families, too, through caregiver breaks and support groups. The center serves up nutritious meals each day, including special diets for allergies or diabetes, and people can enjoy all-day dining in a spacious dining room. There are fully furnished rooms, a movie room, phone service in every room, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable, and emergency alerts. Residents' needs are supported around the clock, with health staff and coordination with healthcare providers, and transportation is arranged for medical appointments as needed. The center also takes care of housework and laundry, and you'll find outdoor walking paths, a garden, and other shared spaces. People enjoy daily activities-everything from community-sponsored events to movie nights-and there's a small group environment with only 16 residents, which helps everyone get to know each other and feel connected. The program is focused on letting adults stay active, socially engaged, emotionally stable, and intellectually challenged, and it tries to help them keep living at home and in the community as long as they can, all while having a safe, supportive place to spend each day.
