    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The reviews present a uniformly positive view of Tower View Assisted Living. Multiple reviewers describe the facility as a small, caring, home-like environment where residents feel at home and are treated with kindness and dignity. The overall tone is enthusiastic — comments like "top notch facility," "five star facility," and repeated references to compassionate, professional staff suggest consistently high satisfaction among families and residents.

Care quality and staff: Care quality is a dominant positive theme. Reviewers repeatedly emphasize compassionate, hands-on care delivered by professional and attentive staff. The owner (named Barbara) is described as hands-on, which reviewers cite as a factor in consistent, individualized attention. Staff behavior is characterized by kindness, attentiveness, and a willingness to "go above and beyond," which supports perceptions that residents are treated with dignity and respect. Multiple summaries highlight that residents receive both safety-focused and person-centered care.

Facilities and environment: The facility is consistently described as small and home-like rather than institutional. That atmosphere appears to reinforce feelings of comfort and safety for residents. The small-house scale is repeatedly cited as a positive attribute, enabling more personalized interactions between staff and residents and helping residents feel at home.

Dining and activities: Dining receives strong praise — meals are described as "tasty" and "great," indicating satisfaction with menu quality and meal service. Activities and social programming are another clear strength. Reviewers note robust opportunities for engagement, including crafts, social activities, and community involvement, including partnerships with local schools. This emphasis on meaningful daily activities contributes to a lively social environment and helps residents remain engaged.

Management, communication, and documentation: Communication with families and record keeping are called out positively. Several reviewers praise open family communication, stellar record keeping, and proactive updates to families, suggesting transparency and reliability in administrative practices. The combination of a hands-on owner, kind administration, and clear communication appears to create trust between the facility and families.

Notable patterns and absence of concerns: The reviews show repeated, overlapping praise across multiple dimensions (care, staff, meals, activities, safety, communication). There are no substantive negatives or recurring concerns noted in the provided summaries. That consistent absence of criticism is itself notable and suggests reviewers either did not experience problems or that positive experiences strongly outweigh any minor issues. If prospective families require more balanced insight, they may still want to request inspection reports, visit in person, or speak to multiple families for up-to-date perspectives, but based solely on these summaries the facility is presented as exemplary in care, staffing, environment, dining, and family communication.

    About Tower View Assisted Living

Tower View Assisted Living, also known as Tower View Villa, sits on a private stretch of land in Rosendale, quietly serving seniors since 2002 as a licensed Community-Based Residential Facility, and with its small size-12 private rooms and 4 shared rooms, all with private bathrooms for a total of 16 residents-it feels easy to settle in and feel at home, with individual thermostat controls in every room so people can set their own comfort. The caregivers, CNAs, nursing staff, a housekeeper, cook, and activity team all make sure someone's there to help day and night, and residents get help with daily needs like dressing, grooming, bathing, transfers, health monitoring, and medication management, which is especially important for those who aren't able to walk or are bedridden, as well as for people living with mild cognitive impairment or needing dementia or hospice waiver care. Folks eat home-cooked meals three times a day in a cozy dining room with its own fireplace, with snacks and drinks always around, plus food can be tailored for allergies and diabetes, and there are both set mealtimes and all-day dining options so people don't feel rushed. Regular housekeeping, laundry, and dry cleaning keep everything neat, and move-in help is available for making the change a little easier, while every bedroom has an emergency call system and the building is equipped with smoke detectors, heat detectors, and sprinklers to keep everyone safe. A beautician visits each week for hair care, and a podiatrist drops by on contract, so folks don't have to leave for those services, and the property itself has a big living room with a large TV, a bright sunny activity room, and a covered patio and porch that look out over six peaceful acres, which makes it easy to relax or join in something social if you feel like it. The Diamond program accredits communities like this one, and Tower View Assisted Living takes part by offering resources, legal support, directories, educational courses, and various member-only perks, which also helps the staff and owners stay connected and trained. The staff focuses hard on providing personal choice and supporting residents' independence, keeping a homelike setting while helping each person stay as involved as they want, whether that's in structured activities in the sunroom, community-sponsored events, enjoying the outdoors, or just having quiet time in a private room. The whole building is wheelchair accessible and set up for non-ambulatory care, with staff right there 24 hours a day. Residents can use shared spaces-a large TV living room, a sunlit activity room, an open dining area with a fireplace, and covered porches-and enjoy the simple things, like comfortable beds in furnished rooms, fresh meals, and the freedom to adjust the temperature just how they want. Tower View Assisted Living stands out by being small, personal, steady, and focused on each resident's needs instead of just offering one-size-fits-all care, and the calm, rural setting gives seniors privacy and comfort without taking away the care and community they may want at this point in their lives.
