    About Regent Manor

Regent Manor has only four residents, so if someone moves in, they'll find it a quieter place where staff can focus on each person's needs, and there's a Support Systems Manager named Carrie Mahlum, a Community Living Supervisor named Rochelle Lee, and an Executive Director named Wanda Plachecki running things, and being an Adult Family Home, Regent Manor takes care of people who need help with things like bathing, dressing, and moving around, but also has nursing care for people who have wounds, need medication managed, or have more complex health problems, and the apartments come fully furnished so there's no need to bring much except personal items, and every apartment has telephone service, cable or satellite TV, and Wi-Fi, which makes it easier for residents to keep in touch with family, and there's housekeeping and linen services every day, so the living areas stay tidy without anyone having to do much, and meals get prepared by trained chefs in the dining room, and the staff can handle special diets for things like diabetes or allergies, and all residents get three daily meals plus snacks, and the facility arranges and transports residents to medical appointments, which is important given that there are both skilled nursing and assisted living services in the building. Outside, there's a garden and places to sit or relax, and inside, there are daily activities for folks who want to join in, including some that help people with memory problems like Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, plus 24-hour supervision and special programs to keep everyone safe and active. If a person needs a full-body lift or a lot of help moving, Regent Manor's staff does that too, and for people who only need a little help, there's independent living, but those who need more support because of disabilities or illness get care tailored to their condition. The place has secure settings for people struggling with memory, and keeps environments safe by focusing on health, land conservation, and wellness, with services connected to Lakeview Health Center and the local county, so the residents can get support for things like dental needs, substance abuse recovery, mental health, and other health problems, and there's even respite care for families needing a break. Regent Manor does its best to make things comfortable and homelike, and emphasizes personal independence and safety, making it a place where each resident is known by name, and services like move-in coordination, accessibility support, and scheduled social activities give some structure and peace to daily life.
