    Excellent care, responsive staff, recommended

I placed my mom here and she loves it. Care is good and available 24/7-staff are great and responsive (call button answered) though can be busy; doctors visit on schedule. The facility is beautiful, clean, comfortable in a walkable neighborhood, with three simple meals and solid social activities (singer-led Christmas singalong). Owners are easy to work with and clearly take pride in residents' wellbeing-I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews for Loving Care Assisted Living is strongly positive. Multiple reviewers emphasize reliable, compassionate care with around-the-clock availability and a generally responsive environment. Specific details cited include a functioning call-button system and regularly scheduled doctor visits, which reinforce a sense of dependable medical oversight. Family members express satisfaction with the facility’s ability to meet basic care needs and comfort — one reviewer explicitly states that their mother "loves it," and other comments highlight that residents are comfortable and that there is meaningful social interaction among residents.

Staff and management are frequently praised. Reviewers describe the staff as "great" and caring for residents’ wellbeing. Owners are noted as being hands-on, easy to work with, and taking pride in the facility; this suggests a management style that is engaged and personally invested in resident care and satisfaction. The combination of attentive staff and involved owners contributes to the familial, community-oriented tone captured in the reviews and appears to be a core strength of the facility.

The physical environment and location receive positive attention. The building is described as beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the location is called "great," with a surrounding neighborhood that includes sidewalks—an asset for outdoor mobility and safety. These comments indicate a well-maintained facility in a walkable, pleasant setting, which can be important for residents’ quality of life and family impressions during visits.

Dining and activities are covered with mixed nuance. The facility provides three meals daily, which meets basic expectations for an assisted living setting, and reviewers note specific activities such as a singer-led Christmas singalong that foster community and social engagement. However, the food is described as "simple," which may indicate limited culinary variety or less emphasis on gourmet dining. Activities appear present and appreciated, but the reviews only reference a few instances (e.g., holiday singalong and general social interaction), so it is difficult to assess the breadth of programming from the available comments.

The primary concerns raised are relatively minor but worth noting. Multiple reviewers point out that staff "can be busy," implying occasional delays or limited availability during peak times. While care quality is still characterized as good, this observation suggests staffing levels or workflow pressures that could affect responsiveness at times. The other common concern is the simplicity of the food, which may matter to families seeking more varied or upscale meal options. Despite these caveats, reviewers consistently recommend the facility and emphasize the strengths in caregiving, cleanliness, and the owners’ involvement, making Loving Care Assisted Living appear to be a well-regarded choice for families prioritizing dependable care, a clean environment, and a community feel.

The place has room for just six residents, so you'll see the same faces and staff most days, which helps people feel at home and looked after. Nurses are on staff, and there's 24-hour supervision, so if someone needs medication, regular diabetic care, or help with incontinence, the help's there day and night. Folks who need stand-by assistance, two-person transfers, or a mechanical lift will find the staff able and ready for heavier care needs, too. There's a special memory care section with its own building designed just for people with dementia or Alzheimer's, and it's got a secure system, including wander guard bracelets to keep everyone safe and prevent wandering.

Meals are planned and prepared by chefs, including vegetarian options, and people always say good things about the food. There's a fitness center, salon/barbershop, a dining room, activities room for games, plus health, arts, and social programs to help folks stay active and connected. Staff includes personal care assistants, and there are visiting nurses, podiatrists, physical therapists, and more who come in to check on folks. Laundry and dry cleaning are part of the routine, and they'll drive residents to appointments or errands for no extra cost.

Loving Care is a licensed adult small group home, meant for people who are aging, physically handicapped, or have Alzheimer's. They accept long-term care insurance.
