    About Eastland Retirement Community

Eastland Retirement Community in Auburn sits on 20 quiet acres and has one- and two-bedroom apartments that come with a living room, a full kitchen, and a private bathroom, all built for people who enjoy country living but don't want to worry about chores or maintenance, and they include cable TV, Wi-Fi, and all utilities so nobody has to fuss over monthly bills, and the Moose family, who own the place, are locals and care about creating a home-like, family feeling for everyone there. They offer several levels of care, so somebody can move in for independent living if they like to do things on their own, or choose from assisted living, memory care, nursing care, continuing care, and even home care if the need comes up, and there's always a full-time staff around, including Certified Nursing Assistants and Registered Advisors, plus cooks handling three meals a day, making sure folks are well cared for and don't have to cook if they'd rather not. Residents can join in plenty of activities, both inside and outside, like reading in the library by the fireplace, sitting out on a sunny patio, or spending time with others in the lounge and dining room, and there's scheduled events, outings, and devotional services when people want them, always something for social, spiritual, or just personal enjoyment, whether folks want to stay busy or just relax. Safety is a big part of the day-to-day here, with 24-hour security and personal pendants so everyone feels protected and staff can help right away if they're needed, and regular housekeeping, linen service, and onsite beautician visits keep the environment clean and comforting. They've built the place for privacy but with a real sense of community-residents can socialize or keep to themselves, and family members are welcome to visit, plus people interested in moving in can come and meet the staff and current residents to get a feel for things. Eastland also helps caregivers with career information and shares guides about senior living, so everyone involved stays informed, and being close to local hospitals and doctors helps residents get to appointments when they need to. It's all designed to give residents support while helping them live as independently as possible, with a focus on dignity, safety, and a good everyday life.
