    Bright social community, poor nursing

I was pleasantly surprised by the bright, roomy apartments, clean common areas, roomy dining room and active social life (crafts, movies, cards) - residents seemed friendly and it's a good location close to family. Staff and the coordinator were often nice and helpful and food/portions were okay by residents' accounts. However, hands-on nursing and caregiver support were inconsistent to poor: staff unavailable in emergencies, limited incontinence care, and some services felt overpromised. Overall, I'd recommend it for independent, social seniors but not for those who need regular nursing or high-level care.
