    Exceptional loving care, beautiful grounds

I moved my mom here and couldn't be more grateful - the staff are exceptional, loving, and highly professional, with strong nursing, prompt emergency response, and trustworthy caregivers. The grounds and two-room apartments are beautiful and safe, meals are tasty, maintenance is outstanding, and there are abundant activities and social opportunities so residents are as busy as they choose. Admissions were fast, transitions (even during COVID) were handled with care, and we felt supported through recovery and a peaceful passing surrounded by loved ones. I highly recommend this facility - worth it for the quality of care even if newer suites cost more.

    About Worthington Christian Village

Worthington Christian Village is a faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community that offers a mix of independent living cottages, apartments, assisted living, memory care and a licensed, state-certified healthcare center that covers continuing care needs, so folks can live as independently as they're able, but still get help when they need it. Residents get personalized care plans, dedicated memory care neighborhoods for those with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, and several levels of care like independent, assisted, and skilled nursing, all with services tailored for comfort and well-being. The staff is well-known for staying around a long time, which brings steady service and a compassionate environment.

There are choices like independent living apartments or cottages for those who want privacy and social activities, assisted living apartments for folks needing a bit more help, and a skilled rehabilitation center for short-term and long-term therapy. The on-site healthcare center serves people needing skilled or intermediate nursing, and there's always 24-hour staffing, building security, controlled entry, and an emergency response system. Folks can use occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, home care, and medication management services, and on-site medical professionals and registered nurses handle daily health needs.

Amenities include three meals a day, snacks, furnished private rooms, a spa, beauty and barber shop, a general store, a bank, a wellness center, and postal services available right on the property. There's a chapel with worship services, a library, concerts, shopping trips, gardening spaces, outdoor walking paths, an exercise room and exercise programs, a computer lab, and activities to help folks stay engaged. They offer laundry and housekeeping, cable TV and local phone service for independent living, and dietary services for all residents.

Worthington Christian Village lets people have month-to-month leases and helps with Medicaid, Medicare, and private funding. There are programs and support for residents' spiritual, physical, and social needs, and strong community values tie everything together. The community aims to let each person keep their independence as long as possible, while always having the right help and care nearby.
