    Modern, well maintained, friendly community

I live here and I'm impressed - modern, well-maintained facility with nice apartments, pretty views, multiple sitting areas and a large backyard. The staff and residents are friendly and caring (they even had a live band), and there are different tiers of care available. Food is good but only one meal a day is included (second meal costs extra) and laundry/other services add fees, so price can be a concern; overall, I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is positive, with multiple comments praising the facility's cleanliness, upkeep, and modern presentation. Reviewers repeatedly highlight that Pine View Terrace is well maintained, with pretty views and attractive, modern apartments. The physical environment appears to be a strong selling point: common areas are described as clean and there are multiple sitting or lounge areas plus a large backyard/outdoor space that contribute to a pleasant, comfortable setting.

Staff and care quality receive consistently favorable mentions. Reviewers describe the staff as caring, friendly, and remarkable, and the presence of different tiers or levels of care is noted as a valuable feature. Several summaries explicitly say the community is highly recommended, which suggests that many visitors or residents are satisfied with the level of personal attention and care coordination offered.

Dining impressions are mixed: food quality itself is described positively (comments like "good food"), but reviewers also note limitations in what is included. Specifically, only one meal per day is included in the base offering and a second meal incurs an extra charge. This pattern—good food but limited included meals—appears frequently enough to be a notable theme and contrasts with some of the otherwise uniformly positive descriptors.

Activities and community life come through as another strength. The community atmosphere is described as friendly, both among staff and residents. At least one review mentions a live band performance, indicating on-site entertainment or programming. Multiple sitting areas and outdoor space support socializing and small events, which likely contributes to residents finding the community engaging.

Cost and additional fees are the main consistent concerns. Reviewers explicitly mention price as a concern and call out extra charges for services such as a second meal and onsite laundry. While onsite laundry is available (a convenience), it is not included in base costs and requires additional payment. The presence of these extra charges suggests potential gaps between perceived value and total cost for some reviewers and is the primary negative pattern across the summaries.

In summary, Pine View Terrace is portrayed as a clean, modern, and well-kept senior living option with caring staff, a pleasant community atmosphere, and varied care levels. The strongest positives are the facility condition, staff quality, and social/entertainment offerings. The principal trade-off called out by reviewers is cost transparency and inclusions: while the food and amenities are appreciated, several routine services (additional meals, laundry) carry extra fees, and overall price is a concern for some. Prospective residents and families would likely want to verify what is included in the base fee versus what carries an additional charge and confirm specifics about care tiers and associated pricing when evaluating Pine View Terrace.

    About Pine View Terrace

Pine View Terrace sits close to Pine View Care Center, which is a skilled nursing and rehab place next door, and the two work together so residents can get assisted living, independent living, short-term rehab, or long-term care, all depending on what's required as needs change, and this means people don't need to move far if they need more help down the line. The community has a mix of apartment-style living and assisted living features, which lets older adults have their own space and privacy, though trained staff still help with things like bathing, dressing, transfers, medication management, and other daily needs when they're asked, with supervision and a call system available any time of day or night. Folks living there have meals served to them, and the kitchen staff can handle special diets, so if someone needs something like diabetic or low-salt foods, that's available, and the dining room runs like a restaurant, so meals aren't just at fixed times. There's help with housekeeping and laundry, and the barber and salon help residents keep up with their grooming. The grounds have walking paths and gardens so people can get fresh air or take a stroll, and there are regular activities such as movie nights and arts and crafts, which makes it easy to meet others without feeling pressured. There's an activities program backed by the staff, and volunteers and families are encouraged to spend time with residents to help everyone feel connected. Nurses are around for care, and those needing rehabilitation therapy can find that here too, as well as chances for independent living for anyone who prefers that. Residents have options to choose a furnished room if they want or bring their own things, and the community pays attention to both physical and spiritual comfort. Respect for each person's preferences matters, so care's personalized-there's no one-size-fits-all approach, just people working to make sure everyone can live with dignity, and even if someone just wants a quiet day by themselves, the staff are there but let people have their space. Pine View Terrace offers tours for anyone considering a move, and they've got a photo gallery online to give people a glimpse of what daily life looks like, so friends and family can be involved each step of the way. As a whole, the place puts care and comfort first, working to make life familiar and safe while offering support as needs change.
