    Welcoming community with minor issues

I toured this community and felt welcomed-staff were outstanding, friendly, and often knew residents by name. The activity calendar is full, meals are generally very good, and therapy/skilled nursing options impressed. The building is older but clean and well-maintained, with roomy apartment options, ongoing renovations, and true aging-in-place/memory-care continuity. Downsides: some apartments and bathrooms need updating, housekeeping and laundry can be inconsistent, visitor parking and the industrial location are poor, and it's not cheap. Overall I felt comfortable and would recommend a visit.

    Summary review

Overall impression: Reviews of Oak Hill Terrace Senior Living are mixed but lean positive in many areas, particularly around culture, staff warmth, and social programming. A strong recurring theme is that many residents and families experience a warm, welcoming community with engaged staff who often know residents by name, a robust calendar of activities (including concerts, outings, crafts, and religious services), and chef-led dining that some reviewers described as restaurant-quality. Multiple accounts praise the nursing team, therapy services, and the facility's ability to provide graduated care from independent living to memory care and skilled nursing. Many reviewers highlight roomy apartments, natural light, courtyard spaces, and recent renovations that have refreshed common areas and dining spaces. Marketing and transition staff (named individuals such as Trish and Jen in reviews) are frequently noted as helpful and responsive, and the facility is appreciated for offering respite stays, quick move-ins in some cases, and accommodations (e.g., menus for visually impaired residents).
