    Dirty, unsafe complex with pests

I moved in and wish I hadn’t. Management and office staff were rude and inconsistent, maintenance entered my apartment without notice, and gates often didn’t work so thefts were common. Ants, cockroaches and mold in the shower were persistent, trees overhanging patios invited pests, and the pool/gym were dirty despite glossy photos of a beachfront infinity pool and dry sauna. Dogs roamed off‑leash and I stepped in dog poop on the grounds; stairs were loose. Hidden cleaning fees and deposits with overpriced rent — stay away.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in these review summaries is strongly negative, with multiple recurring concerns about safety, cleanliness, transparency, and staff reliability. While a few reviewers note positive aspects—specifically that some staff members were "nice" and that the property offers high-end amenities like a beachfront infinity pool and a dry sauna—those positives are overshadowed by frequent and serious complaints. The dominant themes are security lapses, poor maintenance practices, pest and mold problems, inconsistent or rude staff interactions, and financial opacity.

Staff and management issues appear repeatedly. Several reviewers describe rude behavior from management and office staff, and multiple comments highlight inconsistent information being given by different employees. This pattern suggests communication and training problems within the team. At least one summary notes that some staff were pleasant, indicating inconsistency in service rather than uniformly poor staff performance. However, negative interactions with management are frequent enough to affect overall impressions.

Safety and security are major red flags in these summaries. Gates that are supposed to control access are reported as nonfunctional, and there are mentions of frequent thefts and vandalized apartments. These are serious concerns for any resident but especially troubling in the context of senior living. Additional safety hazards include loose stairs and maintenance staff entering apartments without prior notice, which raises both privacy and liability issues. Dog-related safety and sanitation problems—dogs roaming off-leash and dog feces on the grounds—add to the sense that rules and enforcement are lax.

Maintenance, cleanliness, and building condition are also frequent sources of complaint. Pest issues (ants and cockroaches) are reported repeatedly, and reviewers note contributing factors such as trees overhanging patios that invite pests. Mold in showers is explicitly mentioned, which is a health concern. Shared amenities suffer from inconsistent upkeep: though an infinity pool and dry sauna exist, other reviewers report a dirty pool and gym, suggesting that amenity maintenance is uneven. Vandalism inside apartments further underscores problems with building security and upkeep.

Transparency and financial practices generate additional dissatisfaction. Several reviewers mention hidden charges, cleaning fees, and deposits that were not clearly communicated up front. Some reviews state that marketing photos are misleading, implying that the actual units or grounds do not match promotional materials. Combined with reports of overpriced rent, these financial transparency issues contribute to a strong "stay away" sentiment among reviewers.

Taken together, the reviews paint a picture of a community with attractive amenities on paper but serious operational and management shortcomings in practice. Prospective residents should be cautious: while the property offers desirable features like an infinity pool and dry sauna and some staff are described as nice, persistent issues with security, pests, cleanliness, maintenance access, inconsistent staff behavior, hidden fees, and building damage are repeatedly flagged. These are material concerns that bear on safety, health, comfort, and value.

For anyone considering this community, recommended due diligence would include: verifying security measures and gate functionality in person, asking for written policies on maintenance entry and incident reporting, inspecting units closely for pests and mold, reviewing the full fee schedule and lease for hidden charges, and touring amenities at different times to check cleanliness and upkeep. Also ask about staff turnover and how complaints are handled, and request documentation of recent repairs or pest remediation efforts. The mixed presence of valuable amenities does not compensate for the number and severity of operational problems reported across these reviews.
