    About Twining Valley

Twining Valley sits on 12 acres in Monroe, Wisconsin, with pretty grounds, a pond, and walking paths where people often see folks out walking their dogs or sitting in the outdoor common areas when the sun's out, and the grounds are tidy and well-kept so it's nice to wander or just rest a bit, and residents can choose from one or two-bedroom apartments, single-level homes, and estate homes with lots of storage, heated underground parking, attached garages, barrier-free entry, and large kitchens with all appliances included, and people like having options for storage or an extra garage if they've got stuff to tuck away, and while the main building has an elevator, there are no steps in the homes, making it easier for those who use walkers, wheelchairs, or just want to avoid stairs. There's a dining program with nutritious meals that chefs and meal planners put together, and residents can either order meals or join others in a common dining room with a nice sense of privacy; folks say it's clean and smells good inside which is a plus. If someone needs more care, the staff can provide nursing home services, assisted living, memory care, and even hospice care, plus help with incontinence or diabetes, and you can get units fitted with an emergency call system; there's always maintenance coverage, day or night. Pets are okay here, both cats and small dogs as long as they're under a certain weight, and there's space outdoors for pets to get a good walk; people appreciate being able to bring their companions. Social life is steady with daily activities like fitness, arts and crafts, bingo, and clubs or classes, and the staff encourages everyone to take part but don't push, and you'll find both women and men living here. You can't smoke inside, though. There's transportation for errands or trips, a media center, activity rooms, storage spaces, and a big, bright common room where people gather. The building is secure, and the community has a reputation for being friendly and safe, with live-in caregivers for those in need and independent living for folks able to handle most things on their own. Twining Valley has won awards for meals, activities, and friendliness, but what stands out are the genuine warmth between residents and staff, the newsletters, the event calendar that keeps everyone informed, and a management team led by Randy Boss who people say is easy to talk to. The place feels stable, with plenty of privacy if you want it and a lively social scene if you don't.
