About Tender Reflections Weston - CLOSED

Tender Reflections Weston-now closed-used to offer a range of care options for seniors aged 55 and older, including people with memory problems like Alzheimer's or other types of dementia, and frail elderly needing long-term assistance, and the whole place had a real homey feeling with friendly staff looking after everyone's safety and health both day and night, and they always kept a focus on helping folks stay as independent as possible, so if someone needed help with bathing, or dressing, or getting around, or taking their medication, staff would step in and lend a hand but still let people do things for themselves whenever they could, and the community also provided adult day services, home care, hospice support, and Medicare-certified home health care, so a lot of different needs got met in the same place, and if someone needed a short stay for respite, they could come for up to 28 days as long as there was a room and after an assessment, and those short stays were good for both folks with or without memory problems.

Residents could join in on activities each day like fitness programs, BBQs, birthday parties, day trips, and special live performances, and there was a game room, a small library for reading, and a computer center with internet, plus a dining room where everyone came together for meals, and for those who wanted quiet, there were indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing or visiting with family, and the place had private bathrooms, fully furnished apartments, and options for folks who couldn't walk on their own, so everyone's needs got considered, and staff kept the grounds safe with a secure environment, including extra safety for those with dementia, and there was always someone available thanks to a 24-hour call system, and part of the whole setup was a wellness center, beautician services onsite, help with transportation to appointments, and off-site devotional services, so no matter someone's faith or routine, they could keep up with what mattered to them.

Memory care was a big focus, with special programs aimed at keeping minds active, supporting residents with memory loss, and offering structured engagement to help people feel included, and for those who needed nursing support, there was 12 to 16 hours of care available, with supervision around the clock, and if diabetes or other health conditions were an issue, staff worked with special diets and personalized medical care, and across all these services, the overall approach was to help everyone age in place, making sure each person's changing needs were met as much as possible in the same community, with assessments and plans done together with families and, when needed, hospice or outside providers brought in to make sure every resident was safe and well cared for, so Tender Reflections Weston did its best to create a caring, safe, and supportive home for seniors, with staff always ready to listen and adapt.
