Pavilion of Bridgeview is a licensed 145-bed senior care center offering many services for older adults who need different levels of help, whether someone needs skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation after the hospital, or longer-term support for daily living, the staff works around the clock and is trained to handle things like memory loss, wound care, tracheostomy care, and managing medications, and there are Medical Directors or attending physicians supervising care day and night. The place offers private suites for rehab, long-term care, respite stays for caregivers who need a break, and palliative and hospice care for comfort and end-of-life needs, and the staff provides things like diabetic injections, bathing, grooming, dressing, laundry, and meal support, so residents have help with most daily tasks.
Therapists come in to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and the team also handles more complex issues, doing things like behavioral and psychosocial care, Alzheimer's and dementia care with a dedicated dementia care unit, and therapies such as CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygen for those who need breathing support, plus there's bariatric care for weight management needs. Pavilion of Bridgeview meets Medicare and Medicaid standards and is accredited by The Joint Commission, which means some extra attention to quality.
People living here can take part in lots of activities and the place features an arts and crafts room, library, barbecue area, movies, cards and games, social events, bingo, music nights, plus outings and family vacations, and the facility has amenities like a pet lawn, patio, beauty salon, barbershop, and rooms that are easy to get to with a wheelchair accessible van. The facility provides regular meals, Bible services, and laundry, and there's a focus on making sure people with memory or cognitive problems stay safe and feel engaged, with special programs and staff who know how to help. Other health services like dental, podiatry, optometry, and psychological counseling are available, and there are therapeutic dietary plans for those with special diets, so most medical and daily needs can be handled in one place.
The Pavilion of Bridgeview has a Hispanic program and offers support and referrals to both residents and their families, making sure seniors can stay as active and independent as possible for as long as possible, and while it's not currently part of the Elderwerks network, the staff tries to keep day-to-day life comfortable and meaningful, encouraging everyone to take part in the social, educational, and spiritual events they offer.
