    About Henry County Health Center

Henry County Health Center sits in a modern 74-bed facility that includes 25 acute care beds in the hospital called Henry County Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Hospital and a 49-bed long-term care area called Park Place Elder Living, which stays open all day and night, where seniors get support that focuses on comfort and dignity and attentive care plans, while memory care helps those with Alzheimer's or dementia. The center offers both outpatient and inpatient healthcare, and you can find skilled nursing services and rehab along with emergency services available around the clock. They've got a walk-in clinic for urgent but less serious needs, and the on-site pharmacy means residents and patients don't have to travel for medication. You can find primary care for all ages, mental health help, and women's health, plus specialized elder care, so people don't need to travel far for most basic treatments. There's a gift shop and a bookstore in the lobby, with items like books, journals, puzzles, greeting cards, flowers, and different gifts or jewelry, and you can order fresh floral arrangements to be delivered on campus. The center offers several senior living choices, like independent living, assisted living, memory care, and senior apartments, along with skilled nursing and outpatient rehab. Meals are served once or twice a day based on need, and staff handle laundry and housekeeping for residents. Clothing items for different mobility levels include sleepwear, pants with elastic waists, wheelchair-friendly clothing, and shoes and slippers, to help people dress more easily. Volunteers with Friends of Henry County Health Center support store sales and community activities, and there's also a group called the HCHC Foundation with a Board of Trustees helping guide larger efforts. There's respite care available when caregivers need a break, and they work hard to keep a focus on patient needs, using a team approach to make sure care feels personal. A special map feature helps people get around the campus, and both the elder care facility and hospital stay open 24/7 so seniors and families can get the help they need when they need it.
