Liann's Homes - The Fireside - CLOSED, once sat at 7021 North 79th Place in Scottsdale, Arizona, as a small, home-like assisted living facility with space for up to 10 residents, and over the years, people knew it for its calm atmosphere, caring staff, and private rooms and baths, with licensed managers who actually lived on-site, offering help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene, plus support with both assisted living and memory care needs, including for people with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. The Fireside gave folks hospice and respite care too, along with three home-cooked meals every day and special diets when needed, staff helped with medicine, mobility, exercise, trips to the doctor, shopping, worship, and different activities like music therapy, animal visits, board games, and outings, and people could enjoy things like regular programs, movie nights, a reading room, wellness areas like hot tubs and steam rooms, spots for gardening, a beauty shop, and social events. The place had a clean dining area, lots of group activities, and kind workers who served food or lent a hand whenever needed, all overseen by Arizona's Department of Social Services with license AL1004H, and those who stayed paid about $3,000 a month, sometimes using insurance or veterans' benefits. The Fireside opened back in 1995 as part of the Liann's Homes group and was known over the decades for reliable care in a peaceful neighborhood and a goal to make everyone feel at home, but as of now, Liann's Homes - The Fireside is closed and no longer provides any care or services.
