    Cozy family care, medical concerns

I placed my loved one here and overall I'm glad I did - the staff are compassionate and hands-on, meals feel home-cooked, there are regular social activities and monthly off-site lunch outings (~$20), and communication/photos gave us real peace of mind. Rooms were clean, personal items were welcome, outdoor/common spaces are pleasant, and staff were responsive to fixes. The building is older, activities could be more engaging, and there were troubling lapses in medical/safety oversight reported (missed meds/meds left out, cleanliness incident); they also don't accept late-stage Alzheimer's. For early-stage residents who want a cozy, family atmosphere it's a good value, but be cautious about medical supervision.
