About Villagio Of Broomfield - CLOSED

Villagio of Broomfield stood as a senior living facility at 11952 Gray St. in Broomfield, on the site of the former Villagio Senior Living, and even though the place offered many care options like assisted living, memory care, independent living, respite care, and a few programs for substance-abuse treatment through NRT Behavioral Health, it's now marked as closed, so there aren't any services available anymore. The community once had 73 beds and provided a safe and friendly environment for seniors living with memory loss, including Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, with trained staff, locked doors, and secure outdoor spaces, and they really seemed to try to adapt their memory care programs to fit the different needs and backgrounds of each person who stayed there. Residents could choose private rooms or suites-some even with kitchenettes-and bring their own furniture to make them feel more at home, which was a nice touch, and the place seemed to support pets, allowing cats and dogs, along with common spaces full of light, areas to gather with friends or family, and outdoor spaces for gardening or walking.

Villagio of Broomfield held group activities like crafts, art classes, garden clubs, and movie nights, and liked to put on events such as wine tasting festivals, trivia games, and even live dance or theater, and families had chances to join meetings or support groups. They tried to cover daily needs for their residents by offering help with things like bathing, dressing, transferring, medication management, special diabetes care, and non-ambulatory support, while organized programs worked to boost brain health and keep residents social and engaged. Nurses, doctors, and care staff were on-site, and residents had access to meals, beautician services, spa/wellness rooms, barber/salon visits, and trips out for community activities, plus a structured schedule full of social and learning opportunities. Some mention was made of respite care for short-term stays after surgery or injury, too, and flexible plans like daily, weekly, or month-to-month services, and any family who brought a loved one there could join in the care process. Rooms came with private bathrooms, cable TV, air-conditioning, phone lines, and Wi-Fi, and Villagio of Broomfield, being Broomfield's only memory-care specific senior living community, put an emphasis on residents' independence and dignity, encouraging them to take part in things they enjoyed, keep their routines when possible, and celebrate their own stories and memories within a secure, home-like setting.

Now that the doors are shut, there isn't up-to-date information on services or tours, but the old facility, which had once housed so many aspects of senior and dementia care, stood for a while as a place that believed people living with memory loss were more than their diagnosis and tried to maintain a sense of community, light, safety, and support right up until the end.
