Cottonwood Ridge gives seniors different levels of support in a medium-sized, friendly community that's built for comfort and easy living, all on one level with no steps and wide hallways for easy walking. The place has five ranch-style homes for assisted living, each serving up to ten seniors, and there's one home set aside for those with Alzheimer's Disease or similar memory challenges. Cottonwood Ridge specializes in assisted living and memory care, but residents can also get hospice care, skilled nursing, home health care certified by Medicare, and non-medical home care if needed. Some people come for long-term care, others for adult day services, and there are independent living options too, all for adults age 55 and older.
The staff watches over residents 24 hours a day and helps with things like bathing, dressing, grooming, medication, laundry, and getting to appointments. There's a wireless emergency call system, smoke alarms, sprinkler systems, and only one floor, which all help keep everyone safe. Meals are home-cooked, three times a day, with snacks available, and family or friends are welcome to join residents at meal times or for activities. The community has a gracious dining room, and there are both private studio apartments and public spaces for gathering, including outdoor patios, a gazebo, walking paths, and garden spots.
Residents can relax in the whirlpool spa, get a haircut or a visit to the beauty shop or barber, use the library or computer area, or just spend time in common areas indoors or outside. The community sets up regular activities like movie nights, spiritual devotional services, games, and events that help people stay active and connected. Staff helps set up rides and appointments, and free transportation services are part of life here. There's on-site laundry for linens and personal items, housekeeping, mailboxes, and resident parking. Some pets are allowed, so folks can bring a small companion along. Cottonwood Ridge aims for a warm, cheerful setting where people get the personal care they need, and the atmosphere encourages health, safety, and a sense of belonging. The facility is licensed by the state and provides English language services. Utilities are paid, and each apartment comes with individually controlled heating and air conditioning for comfort.
