    Caring staff, clean welcoming home

I placed my mom here and I'm very glad we did - the staff are outstanding, caring, stable, and truly love the residents; the home is clean, welcoming and family-like, with good food and activities, and I'm kept well informed about her care. A few drawbacks: occasional unprofessional communication, a billing/lease reimbursement issue, and minor laundry wrinkles, but overall I would highly recommend this facility.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews for BeeHive Homes of Georgetown is strongly positive with repeated praise for the caregiving team, cleanliness, and the home-like environment. A clear majority of reviewers emphasize the compassionate nature of the staff, noting that caregivers listen, treat residents with dignity, and often seem genuinely emotionally invested in the residents’ wellbeing. Multiple reviews highlight stable staffing and consistent caregivers, which families cite as important for continuity of care. Several reviewers explicitly describe the care as "incredible" or "excellent," and many highly recommend the community based on the quality of daily care and the visible rapport between staff and residents.

The facility’s physical environment and daily life also receive favorable comments. The home is repeatedly described as clean, welcoming, and small — attributes families associate with a family atmosphere rather than an institutional setting. An open dining room and communal meals are mentioned positively, and reviewers say residents like the food. Organized activities are present and noted by name (Bible study on Wednesdays, music on Sundays), suggesting a modest but regular activity program that supports spiritual and social engagement. Reviewers also describe the facility as well-staffed and capable of supporting residents with special needs, reinforcing impressions of dependable resident support.

Despite the largely positive picture, there are notable concerns that should be taken seriously. One reviewer reports a serious administrative dispute involving a prepaid lease not being reimbursed, alleges deceptive communications about reimbursement, and states that their loved one was sent to the hospital. That account also characterizes some staff as unprofessional and difficult to reach regarding concerns. Because this set of allegations concerns financial and administrative transparency and an acute medical event, it stands out as a significant negative datapoint even if it appears to be in the minority. Another reviewer expressed initial apprehension about elder abuse concerns but said they were reassured after touring and speaking with staff and residents; this suggests that while some prospective families may have reservations, direct engagement with the community can ease fears for many.

Other smaller issues appear sporadically: a few reviewers were "not impressed" or felt the community simply wasn’t the right match for their needs, and one minor complaint about wrinkled clothing was recorded. A few reviews note that management is new, which could indicate a transitional period; this may explain variation in administrative experiences and could be a factor in both improvements and lingering concerns depending on timing. Overall, the dominant pattern is positive — warm, attentive caregivers; a clean, home-like space; consistent staffing; and satisfied residents — but prospective residents and families should ask specific questions about lease and reimbursement policies, communication protocols, and how the community handles acute medical incidents when touring or considering move-in to ensure their expectations and protections are clear.

    About BeeHive Homes of Georgetown

BeeHive Homes of Georgetown is a senior living home with assisted living, memory care, and short-term respite care options, sitting in a quiet residential setting that feels much like a regular house, where rooms are private, each one has its own bathroom with walk-in showers and grab bars, some for couples who want to stay together, and the whole place stays bright, comfortable, and decorated in warm colors with things like a cozy common room with a fireplace, cheerful dining area with round tables and fall-themed tablecloths, and outdoor patios surrounded by flowers and lawns. Residents can enjoy daily house-keeping, gardens, fishing, quilting, crocheting, games, music, arts and crafts, table games, and outings for shopping with transportation, plus there's a hair and nail salon, communal dining area with home-cooked, dietician-approved meals, and snacks always available. The dedicated staff gives compassionate and personal help, helping with medication, laundry, diabetic care, incontinence care, personal care needs, and always looking after both physical and memory needs, with a consulting nurse available always, even though there's not a nurse living on-site, and everyone gets an assessment when they move in, so the care fits each person and can change as needs change. Residents never get left alone, with caregivers providing support 24 hours, all year round, helping people who want some independence but need a hand with daily living, and the memory care side gives therapy, safety, and thoughtful activities for people living with memory loss or dementia. There's end-of-life care as long as residents don't need skilled nursing, and families can visit most any time, since the home works hard to accommodate different visiting needs, and there's always space for people needing just a short stay to recover, like after an illness, with furnished rooms and full access to meals and activities. All utilities, laundry, linens, cable TV, and WiFi come included in the all-inclusive monthly rent, and the community takes Medicaid as well as other payment options, with an entry fee of $1800, and staff encourage both private and group activities to keep everyone engaged. Folks thinking about moving in can come for a tour, talk with the caregivers and residents, and see for themselves how the smaller home and personal approach make daily life quieter and perhaps more comfortable than bigger, busier places, and more can be learned by visiting their website, BeeHiveHomes.com.
