Thornton Terrace Health Campus is a senior living community that offers a wide range of care options, so people can find the right support for their needs whether that's independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, or memory care. The community has personalized help for activities of daily living in assisted living and has skilled nursing services for folks who need more medical care, including cardiac recovery, orthopedic recovery, stroke recovery, wound care, and intravenous therapy, all provided by trained staff around the clock. The Memory Care neighborhood is made for people living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, and staff support residents with special care plans and a safe, monitored space. There's also adult day care for people who need help and supervision during the daytime, with planned activities and meals.
The campus tries to help folks stay independent as long as possible, with home modifications for safety, home technology for easier living, and resources to help people age in place. Families can get caregiving support and help planning care, including information about funding and housing options. There's transitional care and long-term care offered, so residents can move between services as their needs change, and they can stay in familiar surroundings.
Private suites range from 140 to 355 square feet, with 1-bedroom and studio options, and short-term stays start at $129 per day. Every suite comes with a private shower, a kitchen or kitchenette, individually controlled heat and air, wireless internet, cable TV, and utilities included. Residents can decorate their suites with favorite things from home. Housekeeping, laundry, and linen services are available weekly, and staff keep the apartments and grounds well maintained.
There are indoor and outdoor common areas, a private dining room, walking paths, a courtyard, handicap parking, and a pet-friendly policy. A salon is right on site. Scheduled transportation is available, sometimes for an extra fee. Meals are served restaurant-style with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and a chef who prepares the meals. Social, educational, and entertainment programs fill the days, with daily activities and personalized wellness programs aimed at helping folks stay engaged and as healthy as possible.
Office staff are available weekdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm, but care and support run 24 hours a day. Emergency alert systems are in all suites. Families and residents can expect services to meet changing needs, and support that's based on what's best for each person, especially those with memory issues. The campus is licensed for skilled nursing, and there's information and help for planning care. People 55 and over can find maintenance-free living here, and those who want to age in place have choices and access to help as they need it.
