    Compassionate, efficient care; attentive staff

I'm very pleased with this beautiful, well-managed community - residents are happy and events are fun, and the staff (especially Michelle and Brittany) are friendly, helpful and attentive. Nurses, aides and therapists provide skilled, compassionate care; leadership handled a deficiency-free survey and helped with insurance and long-term care filings. They supported my mother through hospice with kindness, quickly found misplaced items, and addressed food and laundry concerns. Overall a caring, efficient place I'd recommend.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews present a mixed but informative picture of care at this facility. Many families praise compassionate, attentive direct-care staff and consistent clinical services: reviewers highlighted timely nursing response, skilled therapy (PT/OT/Speech), and particular strength in hospice and end-of-life support. Leadership-level performance is also frequently noted positively; the facility’s deficiency-free annual survey and comments about effective survey management indicate regulatory compliance and administrative attention to quality measures. The physical environment is described as attractive and well maintained, with active event programming that contributes to residents’ social engagement.

At the same time, several operational weaknesses recur across summaries. Recent ownership or management changes appear correlated with increased staff turnover and shifts in caregiver assignments; reviewers describe uneven staff attentiveness, variability in transfer and toileting assistance, and instances of delayed response to resident needs. These patterns manifest as concerns about supervision and transfer-safety practices, incontinence-care delays, and lapses in personal-property handling during transfers or isolation procedures. Families also identified inconsistent meal quality and occasional laundry-service problems, and some described frustration with how complaints are handled and communicated.

Staff strengths remain a clear asset: many comments single out individual caregivers and administrative staff for being helpful, understanding, and quick to resolve issues such as misplaced items or insurance paperwork. Therapy and nursing services receive positive remarks for skill and responsiveness, and the programming and events help maintain resident engagement and morale. Where leadership intervenes, families report satisfactory follow-up and compassionate coordination, particularly around hospice care.

For prospective residents and families, the important patterns are that clinical skill and compassionate care are evident, but operational reliability appears uneven in places—especially during times of staffing change. If considering this facility, ask leadership about current staffing stability, staff training on transfers and toileting assistance, property-tracking procedures for moves or isolation, and the facility’s process for handling and escalating family complaints. Also inquire about current dining menus and laundry protocols to evaluate whether recent issues have been addressed. These targeted questions can help differentiate routine strengths from areas the facility is actively improving.
