This expansion provided fourteen additional beds, enhanced office space, a new dining and kitchen area, a modern physical therapy room, and three Independent Living Apartments. Beyond just adding more physical space, these upgrades reflected the home’s ongoing mission to foster a vibrant and active living environment for its residents. Further enhancement came in 2001 with the creation of Elmar Estates, an area featuring six Independent Living Condominiums, offering seniors more options for comfortable and independent lifestyles within the Cedar Manor community.
