    Small spotless home, attentive staff

I placed my mom here and couldn't be happier. It's a small, single-level home (max 8 residents) that's spotless, well-lit and accessible (short carpeted ramps, private room with shower), with attentive owners and a low staff-to-resident ratio who provide individualized, family-like care. They serve excellent, nutritious meals, run activities, maintain top hygiene and proactive medical/COVID precautions, and the pricing (starts around $2,000/mo) has been worth every dime - I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive. Families repeatedly emphasize attentive, personalized care delivered in a small, home-like setting. The owner and staff are described as deeply engaged — the owner personally interacts with residents, is proactive about health (one reviewer cites early pneumonia detection), and staff build visible bonds with residents. Reviewers consistently highlight respectful treatment, dignity, and a family atmosphere: residents are said to smile and gravitate toward staff and owners, and frequent family visits and open visiting policies reinforce that family involvement is encouraged.

Care quality and staffing are frequently praised. Multiple reviews cite a low staff-to-resident ratio (noted as 1:4) and detail-oriented caregiving including clear medication and diet records, good hygiene practices, and the ability to communicate with residents who have specific impairments (for example, a deaf resident). Staff are described as attentive and nurturing, providing individualized care and being responsive to medical and daily-living needs. Several reviewers credit the facility’s proactive approach during COVID-19 and ongoing attention to resident safety and health.

Facility and environment receive uniformly positive comments. The home is described as clean, well-kept, and odor-free with non-institutional furnishings that contribute to a comfortable, homelike feel. The single-level layout with short carpeted ramps and at least one room with an en-suite shower stall is noted for accessibility. Reviewers also call out posted certifications and top-of-the-line security, suggesting transparency and attention to regulatory/operational details. Private rooms are repeatedly mentioned as a desirable feature.

Dining and daily services are another recurring strength. Reviewers report exceptional, nutritious, and tasty meals — often described as three full-course meals plus snacks and fresh fruit — and additional services such as haircuts and shaves. Activities programming is varied and includes weekly exercise, crafts, music, spiritual activities, and holiday parties; reviewers appreciate holiday celebrations that include families and commented on purposeful social engagement. Several notes indicate staff go the extra mile on personalized items like snacks and that they welcome suggestions from families.

Patterns of small size and affordability are double-edged. The facility’s small capacity (maximum around eight residents) is repeatedly cited as creating a family-like, highly personalized environment and is viewed positively by many families. Pricing starts at approximately $2000/month and reviewers say the facility was within their price range; however, there are clear caveats that costs rise with higher levels of resident need. Reviewers also mention limited staffing levels (2–3 caregivers), which pairs with the small size but could be a constraint if a resident’s care needs increase or during staff absences.

Notable concerns are narrow but important. A few reviewers raised issues specific to dementia care: there are concerns about cultural approaches to dementia and a need for more creative, tailored engagement to keep residents with dementia involved. This suggests that while general medical attention and social programming are strong, families seeking specialized dementia programming or structured memory-care activities should probe this topic further during a tour. Another recurring negative is location: one or more reviewers called the site inconveniently located for their family, so proximity should be checked against family needs.

In summary, ACE Assisted Living LLC is depicted as a small, clean, closely supervised, and family-oriented group home that delivers highly personalized care, strong family communication, and high-quality meals and activities. Its strengths are its attentive owners and staff, proactive health oversight, transparent records and security practices, and the homelike environment. Potential residents and families should weigh those strengths against the facility’s limited capacity and staffing model, the likelihood of rising costs for increased care levels, and whether the available programming meets specific dementia or specialized-care needs. For families seeking a warm, attentive, small-scale assisted living option, reviewers overall recommend ACE, while those requiring intensive memory-care services or who need a more conveniently located facility should evaluate fit carefully.
