Northampton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a two-story building that provides long-term nursing care and rehabilitation services for up to 196 residents, and the facility sits as part of Alterwood Healthcare. The staff offers a wide set of healthcare and therapy services, like physical, occupational, and speech therapy, wound care management, medication management, and support for people with memory problems through dedicated memory care programs. The center has a skilled nursing team that gives around-the-clock care and creates personalized plans so each resident's needs are met, and they do a good job making sure folks get help with recovery and daily life by offering things like respite care and health and wellness programs. Meals come served in styrofoam take-out boxes, which is something people mention in reviews, and the building has amenities that are described as clean and inviting, though some comments mention that response times to emergencies can be a challenge at times. Medicaid is accepted as payment, and there are resources for both providers and residents through an information portal. There are also programs like Medication Therapy Management (MTMP), a Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3P), and different Medicare Advantage options like Alterwood Advantage Select, Choice, Freedom, and Dual Secure/Value plans. The staff works to make the center feel like a home, focusing on safety, community, and the dignity of every person living there, and even though information about Northampton Manor itself is limited, its main aim is to help residents recover, stay healthy, and live a comfortable life. You can learn more about them on their website at northamptonnursingandrehab.com since the center is open all day and night with staff committed to providing both medical help and support whenever residents may need it.

Good rehab but inconsistent, unsafe
I had an up-and-down experience. Rehab and therapy were excellent - I walked with a walker in under a week and admissions was great. Many aides, therapists, and some nurses were kind and attentive, and activities were engaging. But staffing shortages and poor communication led to slow call-light responses, delayed meds and treatments, weekend shortfalls, and dangerous lapses (infection/medical declines reported). Cleanliness was inconsistent - rooms often tidy but hallways/showers sometimes soiled and smelly. Meals and food temperature/quality were hit-or-miss. Management responsiveness and nursing competence felt uneven. I'd use it for short-term rehab if you're mobile and involved, but I wouldn't trust it for high-acuity or bed-bound seniors.
