    Family owned compassionate dementia care

I chose BeeHive because it's small, family-owned and truly owner-operated - Kyle and Sherri are hands-on and welcoming. My mom gets exceptional, personalized dementia care from a stable, compassionate team (RN involvement, Life Enrichment activities and outings), the facility is spotless and beautiful with a lovely backyard, and staff communicate well with families. The food is excellent (fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies!), she's gained over 5 pounds, and I finally have peace of mind. Highly recommended - residents are treated like family.

    About Northwoods Memory Care Suites

Northwoods Memory Care Suites, at 4313 Ball Rd NE in Blaine, Minnesota, is a small, family-owned memory care community run by Kyle and Sherri Lewis that opened in 2023. The facility specializes in care for seniors with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory issues, with spaces designed to feel like a real home, offering a familiar and peaceful atmosphere. Every resident gets a private bathroom in their own cozy suite, which helps keep things comfortable and offers a sense of privacy. Care is carefully planned out with each family, as the team does assessments and updates the plan as needs change, and the staff have more than five years of experience with memory care. There are five levels of care to make sure people receive help that's right for them, whether it's basic daily support or more advanced health needs, and the registered nurse is always available around the clock.

The facility includes features like a sunroom for relaxing, lounges to rest in, landscaped outdoor areas, a garden with safe walkways, and a sensory-rich memory walk to support emotional well-being, plus a relaxing salon for personal care. Meal times are important here, and the in-house chef makes fresh, balanced meals suited to each person's dietary needs, including the "Best Meals and Dining" program, and there's a communal dining area and guest meals too, so residents often gather around a central island or in pleasant, homey rooms that look and feel cozy and familiar. Scheduled activities fill the day, including arts and crafts, music, games, and social programs, and caregivers and a part-time nurse help with therapies like occupational and physical therapy, medication reminders, personal care, and psychiatric or hospice care when needed.

It's a secure, purpose-built setting with easy access for people with mobility needs, plus services like an on-site pharmacy, Virginia VA Aid Assistance, laundry, and housekeeping. The monthly fee depends on room type, chosen services, and care levels, with an entry fee of $2,000. Pets aren't allowed, but families often say the compassionate, friendly staff help everyone feel respected, valued, and cared for, and that the place tries hard to make each day meaningful, supporting dignity and comfort. Northwoods Memory Care Suites is verified and licensed under state license number 413189, with award recognitions like Best of Senior Living and All-Star for its dedicated staff and good care. Tours are available in person or online to help families see daily life before making any decisions.
