Martin Luther Campus sits at 1401 E. 100th St. in Bloomington and has been supporting seniors for more than 60 years, offering a range of services like skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, rehabilitation, hospice care, and home health options, so seniors can find care suited to their needs, and with different levels of support. The campus includes Martin Luther Care Center and Meadow Woods, providing places for long-term care, transitional care after surgery or illness, and adult day programs that let people enjoy activities, games, meals, and social time while giving family caregivers a break, and they even offer door-to-door transportation for those programs. People can choose between independent apartments, assisted living with help for things like bathing, dressing, and medication, or memory care settings, including Meadow Song Memory Care in Meadow Woods with its own secure apartments, and special neighborhoods in the Care Center with larger, customizable rooms, both types have regular activities, art, and music therapy, and support for memory impairment.
Nurses are on-site forty hours a week with 24/7 on-call nursing support, and the emergency call system means someone's always ready to help, plus geriatric doctors and nurse practitioners visit the campus. The staff, managed by Ebenezer and tied to Fairview Health Services, makes sure care fits each person, including medication help, diabetes support, and spiritual care with things like chapel, Bible study, and spiritual health programs, and the campus aims to be compassionate, welcoming, and support old traditions and new friendships. Therapy options, such as physical, speech, occupational, and even aquatic therapy, happen right on site, and everyone gets three meals a day served restaurant-style, along with laundry and housekeeping. Festive events, lifelong learning, special programs about health, and community partnerships keep people engaged and connected, whether someone joins in a game of Bingo or sits in the peaceful Minnesota River Bluff setting. The Elderly Waiver Program can help pay for care, and Martin Luther Campus accepts seniors with many needs, including those needing help with dementia and chronic illness. Volunteers play a big part here too, recognized by special programs. Adult day, long-term care, assisted living, independent housing, rehabilitation, memory support, and hospice work together so folks can find what they need at each stage, and amenities like the beauty and barber shop, scheduled activities, and scenic views make it a place where people can feel at home while getting support.
