    Beautiful home, excellent attentive staff

I love my new home. The building and apartment are beautiful, bright and stylish with high-end furnishings and great amenities-delicious healthy meals, on-site salon, transportation, nearby shops, church and even daycare interaction. The staff are amazing, attentive and go above and beyond; care is excellent and flexible so my move was smooth and I have real peace of mind. Collin, the sales director, was fantastic and never pressured us. Highly recommend.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in the reviews is strongly positive, with repeated emphasis on the Pillars of Lakeville's new, thoughtfully designed facility and high-quality services. Reviewers frequently cite the building’s bright, stylish appearance and state-of-the-art, high-end furnishings. The facility is described as beautifully appointed and modern, which contributes to residents’ pride in their apartments and satisfaction with their new homes.

Facilities and amenities are a major strength. Reviewers consistently mention a wide range of on-site offerings including an on-site salon, transportation to events, extensive activities and programming, and connections to a church and an on-site daycare that foster intergenerational interaction. The community’s location near shopping, dining, and services is highlighted as convenient. Maintenance and follow-up are reported to be timely, and overall safety and security are noted as part of the peace of mind families experience.

Care quality and staff performance emerge as central themes. Multiple reviews praise the staff as friendly, responsive, helpful, and attentive to detail — going above and beyond routine duties. Caregivers are described as exceptional, and families report that their loved ones feel loved and well cared for. Regular check-ins and proactive follow-up are cited as contributing to family confidence. The facility’s flexible care model is especially valued: independent living residents can access integrated assisted-living support without changing apartments, supporting aging in place and minimizing disruptive moves as needs change.

Dining and programming receive positive remarks as well: meals are characterized as delicious and healthy, and activities are described as engaging and plentiful. Reviewers mention opportunities for social connection and meaningful engagement, including church services on Sundays and interactions with children from the daycare. These elements are repeatedly linked to resident happiness and a strong sense of community.

Management and admissions experience also stand out positively. The sales process is described as low-pressure and attentive, with a specific staff member (Collin, the sales director) called out for being fantastic and detail-oriented. Several reviewers highlight a smooth transition during move-in and frequent, caring follow-up from team members, which adds to family trust and satisfaction.

Notable concerns are limited but present. A few reviewers mention staffing shortages, which suggests occasional strain on resources; however, even those reviewers often qualify that care remains very good or that staff are exceptional when available. Another recurring, expected caveat is that moving into a community is not the same as living at home — several reviewers frame the facility as the "next best thing to home," acknowledging an adjustment period even when the environment is warm and well-run.

In summary, the reviews portray The Pillars of Lakeville as a high-quality, modern senior living community with strong amenities, robust programming, excellent dining, and a caring staff. The integrated care model, connections to local institutions (church and daycare), and a well-managed, low-pressure admissions experience are frequently praised. Families report peace of mind and pride in the facility. The primary area to watch is staffing levels; a few mentions of shortages indicate this could be an intermittent issue, though it does not dominate the overall positive sentiment of reviewers.
