    About Lilydale Senior Living

Lilydale Senior Living, part of Southview Communities in Dakota County, offers a mix of independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments for adults, and the place has been running since 2012 with 120 beds and a family-managed approach. Residents who live on their own get one meal a day, while those in assisted living or memory care get three chef-prepared meals, and meals come in a restaurant-style dining room with room service and options for special diets like diabetes or allergies if needed. There are independent living villas with different layouts, such as one-bedroom or two-bedroom units, and those have kitchens with refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, and stoves, along with washer-dryer facilities, individually controlled heating and air, Wi-Fi, and cable or satellite TV, and those villas come with a one-year lease and a security deposit of $2500. Assisted living offers studios, one-bedroom, and up to two-bedroom apartments with month-to-month rent ranging from $3742 to $5610, plus help with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and transfers, and every resident has access to a 24-hour response system, licensed RN, daily wellness checks, a health and wellness program, and building security with fire detectors and sprinklers. Memory care serves up to 32 residents who have Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory concerns, with late-stage care, studios and one-bedrooms, a $2500 deposit, and a secured environment with 24-hour supervision, dementia waivers, and staff trained for that level of need. There's also skilled care on site if someone needs more help than assisted living can provide.

Amenities cover the basics like housekeeping, laundry and linen services, and scheduled van transportation for shopping or errands, and the building includes an exercise and fitness center, a movie theater room, a garden with walking paths, a coffee shop, salon and barber shop, and spaces for arts and crafts or cards. The activity calendar is full of things like live performances, birthday and holiday parties, gardening club, religious services, games, outings, and both community and resident-organized events, and families can come for guest meals. Outdoor patios let people get fresh air, and the garage parking costs $60 a month. Pets are welcome, but there are some restrictions-only small dogs and cats are allowed, so it's best to call first about that. The building and apartments are wheelchair accessible, and all have emergency alert systems. There's support with medication management, scheduled transportation, apartment maintenance, moving coordination, and plenty of gathering spaces including a community room and library. Lilydale Senior Living provides information to residents about veterans' and tax benefits, insurance, and other funding options for care, and there are resources and planning tools available for families and caregivers. The community uses month-to-month leasing for most living options, has staff around 24 hours a day, and offers high-speed internet and telephone service in all the rooms, and they do daily coffee and cookies in the afternoons. There are both communal and private spaces, and each apartment or suite is set up for comfortable everyday living with security and easy access to help if anyone needs it.
