    Clean safe supportive but pricey

I live here and it's clean, well-built and feels like home - spacious, nicely laid-out apartments, lovely landscaping, lots of amenities and activities, and a warm, safety-conscious community. Staff and administration are excellent: friendly, responsive, proactive, and quick with maintenance. It is expensive and they can be nitpicky about deposits/charges (I was billed for a stain on a six-year-old carpet), and I'm still a bit unsure about some aspects of care/food. Overall I'm very grateful for the supportive, dignified environment but would budget for extra fees.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the review summaries is strongly positive, with repeated emphasis on staff quality, cleanliness, and apartment design. Many reviewers singled out the staff as a major strength: descriptors like friendly, caring, proactive, responsive, and helpful appear frequently. Management and administration receive direct praise as well, with multiple mentions of a fantastic manager and administration being excellent. Communication and maintenance are particular highlights: reviewers report excellent communications with staff and short maintenance turnaround times, which supports an impression of attentive property management.

Facilities and the living environment are consistently lauded. Reviews describe the apartments as roomy, spacious, nicely laid out, and in some cases new. The property is characterized as extremely clean with well-kept landscaping, pots and flowers, and clean grass; aesthetics such as natural wood and attractive pictures contribute to an overall impressive presentation. Several reviewers note that the facility feels warm and comfortable and "feels like home," indicating a positive atmosphere beyond mere cleanliness. Safety features are also mentioned positively, including locks and a general safety-conscious approach.

Care and specialized services receive mostly favorable comments but also some uncertainty in the pool of reviews. The memory care unit is explicitly described as well cared for, maintaining dignity, safety, and accommodating needs, which is an important positive for prospective residents needing that level of care. However, a few reviewers expressed uncertainty about the overall quality of care and about food quality; these comments suggest that some reviewers either lacked direct experience with long-term care services or felt information on dining and clinical care was insufficient or mixed.

Amenities and activities are a clear strength. The property is described as offering many amenities and activities, including outdoor activities, and reviewers appreciate the social and recreational opportunities. The community is portrayed as friendly and diverse, with tenants described as nice people and some residents saying they plan to return or look forward to moving in. This indicates strong community appeal and social cohesion among residents.

The principal negative themes concern cost, billing practices, and a few aesthetic criticisms. Several reviewers note that the community can be perceived as expensive and that there are expectations like putting money down on a room. More concerning to some reviewers are specific billing and deposit practices: at least one account accuses the facility of charging for minor damage (described as "nickel-and-dime" practices) and of charging for a stain on a six-year-old carpet or requiring replacement of a carpet piece. Those comments include strong language about taking advantage of elderly residents, which stands out even though it appears to come from a subset of reviewers rather than the majority. Additionally, one reviewer described the buildings as ugly, which contradicts many other comments praising appearance but is worth noting as a dissenting perception.

In summary, the reviews collectively paint a picture of a well-run, clean, and welcoming senior apartment community with strong staff, good maintenance, attractive grounds, and plentiful amenities. The memory care unit receives positive mention for dignity and safety. Prospective residents should be encouraged by the repeated praise for staff responsiveness, cleanliness, and community atmosphere. At the same time, potential residents and families should ask specific questions about billing, deposit and damage policies, costs and what is covered in fees, and about dining and clinical care standards to address the areas of uncertainty and the handful of negative experiences reported. Overall impression: highly positive for environment and staff, with cost and billing practices the most notable areas to investigate further.
