    Clean caring staff but institutional

I toured this small (≈25 residents) facility and liked how clean, well-kept and peaceful it smelled - staff were loving, honest and communicative, and they even offered lunch. It wasn't a good fit for us: hallways had loud music, many residents sat lined up in wheelchairs watching TV (felt institutional), and there wasn't much space for family visits. Overall I respect the pride and care of the team, but the meals need more variety and the noisy layout made it unsuitable for my loved one.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is cautiously positive with consistent praise for staff, cleanliness, and the small, home-like scale of the community, tempered by recurring concerns about dining and some aspects of resident engagement and visitor space. Multiple reviewers highlight that staff are caring, loving, and communicative, and that administration appears honest and proud of the level of care. The facility’s physical upkeep is repeatedly noted as very good — reviewers emphasized that spaces are clean and smell pleasant, which contributes to an overall peaceful atmosphere. The small size (reported as about 25 residents) is seen as a major positive by several reviewers, creating an intimate setting that some visitors would recommend and where hospitality (for example, offering lunch during a visit) is noticed and appreciated.

Care quality and staff interactions are among the strongest themes. Several reviewers explicitly describe loving or super-nice staff and good staff communication. Administration is described as honest and there is a sense that staff take pride in the care they deliver. These consistent comments suggest that clinical and day-to-day caregiver interactions are a distinguishing strength of the community, and that visitors feel staff are attentive and professional.

Facilities and environment receive uniformly positive remarks. The building upkeep and cleanliness come up multiple times, as does the pleasant smell of the space—details that indicate good housekeeping and maintenance practices. The small resident population supports a quieter, more peaceful setting for many residents and families. Reviewers repeatedly mention the small size as a benefit, which likely contributes to the calm ambiance and closer staff-to-resident relationships.

Dining and food are the clearest area of concern. While at least one reviewer noted meal variety and another mentioned meals in a positive way, several reviews criticized the dining service or said the food could use improvement. One reviewer explicitly stated that meals and dining service “did not seem to be very good,” and another noted that the food could be improved. This mixed feedback suggests inconsistent experiences with meals — some residents or visitors find acceptable variety and senior-friendly TV/dining usability, while others are disappointed by food quality or service. Given how commonly dining impacts overall resident satisfaction, this is a notable pattern for leadership to address.

Activity, engagement, and noise surfaced as other discernible issues. One reviewer reported seeing residents lined up in wheelchairs watching TV in hallways, and another mentioned loud music in the hallways; these comments raise concerns about the level and appropriateness of resident activities, how residents are positioned or congregated for television, and occasional noise management. These observations imply that while the environment is generally peaceful, there are moments or practices that can feel undignified or insufficiently engaging for some residents.

Visitor accommodations and fit are also mixed. Several reviewers praised hospitality and would recommend the community; however, a recurring negative was limited space for families to visit. Additionally, one reviewer summarized their experience as “not a good fit,” indicating that the community’s small size, routines, or services may suit some residents better than others. This suggests the facility may be particularly well-matched to people who value close-knit staffing and a quieter setting, but less optimal for families or residents who prioritize larger communal spaces, robust activity programming, or stronger dining experiences.

In summary, Suite Living Of Roseville appears to excel in staff quality, cleanliness, and providing a small, peaceful environment where employees take pride in care. The principal areas for improvement are food and dining consistency, visitor space limitations, and occasional issues around noise and how residents are engaged or positioned for activities. Prospective families should weigh the benefits of a small, well-maintained community with attentive staff against these concerns about dining and common-area dynamics to determine whether it is a good fit for their loved one.

    About Suite Living Of Roseville

Suite Living Of Roseville sits at 197 County Road B2 W in Roseville, MN, tucked into a neighborhood near restaurants like McCarron's Pub and Grill and Roundtable Coffee that give residents chances to get out for a meal or a cup of coffee now and then, which can help keep daily life feeling active even if the weather outside isn't perfect for going far, and with a Walgreens pharmacy less than a mile away it's easy for residents to get medications when they need them, so managing prescriptions doesn't turn into a hassle, and if someone needs to see a doctor, Entira Family Clinics is about four and a half miles away and St John's Hospital-Maplewood is four miles away, making medical care pretty accessible in case of emergencies or regular appointments.

This community's a medium size, with about 25 private suites meant for assisted living and memory care, which keeps things small and cozy so folks can feel at home and the staff can get to know everyone's needs better, making support for daily living like bathing, dressing, and help with transfers more personal and less rushed, and they've got a care team with over twenty years of experience to keep an eye on any changes and make coordination with other healthcare providers straightforward for residents, whether the needs are for regular checkups, medication management, or help with mild cognitive impairments.

They're equipped to provide a wide range of care, from independent living for more active seniors to memory care for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, while also offering hospice, spiritual, and respite care, and they can help adjust support as needs change, which means you don't need to move somewhere else if health challenges become more complicated, since it's a licensed residential facility that meets both state and local standards.

Suite Living Of Roseville keeps safety front and center, using a 24-hour call system and around-the-clock supervision, so help's always available, and for those who worry about meals, they have chefs and meal planners making sure food's nutritious and thoughtfully prepared, while the building itself is handicap accessible so it's easier to move around, and they provide transportation and parking options for when residents want to get off site, or family wants to visit.

People living here can also enjoy Wi-Fi and high-speed internet, and while some amenities aren't specified, the outdoor space gives some room for fresh air, though pets aren't allowed and details on apartment features, utilities, and air conditioning aren't clear, and there's a focus on faith-filled, compassionate care, with spiritual support offered alongside daily help.

Virtual tours and videos are available if you want to get a sense of what daily life looks like, see the meals, or learn about the activities, and the community often earns awards like Best of Senior Living and Best Activities in Senior Living, which speaks to the care and support people receive, and policies on rent, fees, and legal protections-including information for LGBTQ individuals-are provided for those who want to know their rights or make an informed decision.

The local owners hire and train all staff themselves, keeping things consistent and personal, and the smaller size paired with the balance of independent and assisted living helps make Suite Living Of Roseville a community where people can feel safe and supported as they age.
